Im getting a weird vibe from ATF bitch in every scene shes in. Shes hot in a scary/dominatrix kinda way... She was on an episode of the shield. She slapped Billings and her pimp/lawyer had her bent over the table when Claudette walked in. Forgot what episode but I think it was season 5.

I wanna say the ATF lady was in postpartum. The ATF actress, Ally Walker, is the wife of the president of fx, if I am remembering the commentary of postpartum correctly. Apparently she is a fan of the shield and wanted to be on it before it ended.

Holy shit. Holy SHIT!
"The Sleep of Babies" is the best ep yet! Damn, that was one hell of an awesome episode.
Yes, f*ckernando, poor Opie is Lem. So many misunderstandings....Clay's plans don't usually turn out too well.
Terrence O'Hara + Kurt Sutter = A killer combo.
Yeah, E. Gemma is HOT!

R.I.P. Donna
Atleast they didn't kill Opie. That would have majorly upset me.
In the span of one day, Jax wakes up with Tara next to him and ends up going to bed with Wendy that night...lol....

Is that Drea DiMatteo playing Wendy? Also is it me or does Gemma look like she has got some miles on her. Must be the make up artists, cause last time I saw Katey Sagal on TV she was looking very young for her years. Part of the biker babe mystique maybe.

Terrific episode. This is exactly what I was looking for. Something, anything, to truly make me watch this series. And this episode was it.. this moment. It's a tragic case which could have so many consequences and repercussions for everyone. This episode was amazing - and the tension and constant cutting between Donna in the car, the guy who carried it out, Clay finding out it wasn't Opie who was the rat. Really loved this episode and how it all panned out - cannot WAIT for the next episode. And yes, it's Drea de Mattio as Wendy. She's coooooooool.

HEEEEEEEEY I've just watched the ep.....and man........oh man......ROOOCKED BIG TIME!!! I'm nervous..yea... anyone ring a bell THIS storyline??? eh?? this is pure.....season 5 of the SHHHHHHHHIELD !! YEAE.......opie is LEM.....all the club thinkin' he is the rat.......the bitch bitch ATF is kavanaugh....... yea..... it's f**kin incredible how the shield marked SUTTER'S life yeea......... and to me ........and to all shield family yeeea....... A BIG CHEER FOR THE SHHIELD AND SOA AND SUTTER AND SHAWN RYAN AND......f*ckernando!! I'm afraid you've kind of hit on why I'm not enjoying this show too much in spite of this latest episode. It feels so... co-opted, almost, from The Shield. I know I shouldn't have that going through my mind while I watch it, but it's Kurt Sutter's show, he was the one writer who stuck by Shawn Ryan through all seven seasons of The Shield, and recently it just feels like he's been recycling many a plotline from The Shield in his new show. That's all fine and well, but as I'm still not wowed by several of the key actors, it's kind of a recipe for disappointment. It makes me wonder if this show won't be much better in its second season, when perhaps it has found its own groove, so to speak. That said, everyone is right, Katey Sagal is pretty darned amazing. She's the one who keeps this show's engine running in my honest opinion. Great performance.

I actually thought they made that storyline with Opie and his wife work for them and not be a blatent rip-off of 'The Shield' - they did their own unique little tweaks which help it all add to 'Sons of Anarchy'. The only point where I thought it was a bit like 'The Shield' was everyone standing around at the crime scene and Clay phoning the other guy constantly with no answer. Apart from that, everything seemed to work.
I do agree about some of the main actors - some of them don't really 'click' whereas others do. Ron Pearlman seems to have fitted in nicely to his character.

Wow. I just watched SOA last night on my DVR. I was trying to avoid the Shield previews by boycotting FX altogether. Ha! (I did manage to ffw through the ad.)
I loved this ep... Watching everyone wake up in the morning was pretty cool. As soon as they showed Opie with his family I thought, "Oh shit, he's toast." heh. Poor Donna. If Jax finds out what Clay and Tig did, he's gonna flip the fuckk out, man. Hardcore. I didn't see the previews for next week's ep, but I'm sure the shit is gonna hit the spokes.
Wowee wow wow.....

The finale of this show was great! I am surprised no one has posted on it yet. People must still be in therapy to withdraw from the Shield. It was hard to see that show sail out, so I am glad to have SAMCRO to fall back on. The fight scene with Jax and Tigg was awesome, although Jax beat him, he looked like he got beat up good. Tigg got cleaned up fast after that fight. If it was me I think I would have killed him. To me, Tigg is poison and nothing but a sh**head. The club members do not think Jax can be a killer, little do they know what he has already done. Season 2 I feel is really going to take off and not suffer any sophomore slumps. Oh well, withdrawals now until Damages comes back. Another good show.

I gave SOA one full season, and it was "alright" but just not good enough for me to want to see season 2. Especially when you compare this show to the shield. It is boring, predictable, and I was honestly hoping for more from Sutter. It is like they are trying to be shocking, and coming up way short. I thought Sutter would be more original, he does seem to be rehashing Ideas from the shield. This is just not up to par. Now that the shield is gone, I guess all I have is Rescue me, The Unit, and 24 (which is getting old too).
