Is anybody a fan of this show? I just started watching it last week out of curiosity from it's Shield connections. I haven't seen enough of it to form a solid opinion, but it looks decent so far.

I have only seen a few episodes but what I saw was really good! Planning on getting the DVD set at some point for hubby-to-be cus he loves it!

I enjoy it. I think I have seen every ep so far. A little tame compared to the shield, but it is on CBS.

I like it. It is tame compared to TS, but you'll see a lot of crossovers from TS to TU. Corrine, the lady married to the cuddler rapist and a few others have already guested.

I was really disappointed in the show after the "Two Coins" episode...That's the one where Tiffy (Abby Brammel) got scammed with some sleight-of-hand. Given that it's Mamet, I saw it coming a mile away...and coupled with Molly's (terrifically played) trouble from Season 1, I felt it a road already travelled.
There is no rumor to the fact that Shawn Ryan is in a development deal for a TV Series about hard-nosed inner city High School Teachers that ferret away an ill-gotten Retirement Fund of their own.
That's the other big sin of The Unit. While it may be a completely valid plot point, Shawn Ryan has already plumbed those depths.
I have, however seen every episode and the action is some of the best on TV. I always get excited when I see cast or crew from The Shield in the opening credits. There was one episode that was basically an hour-long firefight with no scenes of the wives at home. That episode was technically brilliant.
The season ended pretty strong, all nitpicks aside.
