Sutter has an eye for 'Crime' at WB By Borys Kit HollywoodReporter.com
"The Shield" executive producer Kurt Sutter will make his directorial debut on "In-Crime," a script he wrote for Warner Bros. Pictures as part of a two-picture deal. Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Antoine Fuqua are producing.
The script follows an unorthodox team of police specialists whose mission is to catch major criminals in the act. The script had a previous working title of "S.I.S." Sutter will do a polish on the script before it enters the casting process.
Jessica Goodman is overseeing for the studio.
Sutter's second script at the studio is "Unforgettable," an adaptation of a Warner Interactive game called "Species X." Basil Iwanyk and David Goyer are producing.
Sutter, whose background is in directing and acting in theater, was a staff writer on "The Shield" and worked his way up to executive producer. He even did some acting work on the show.
Sutter is repped by ICM and Jeff Field Entertainment.============================== I couldn't find much info on "In-Crime", but here's a plot description for "Unforgettable" from IMDb.com:"A cop chases after an serial killer in an attempt clear him name, in the process he finds out he may be connected to the murders in an unusual way."
