I thought Chik was great fun on Ellen. She jokingly rhymed about wondering if 'Chiklis was ticklish' or if he'd bring a 'sidedish.' Yeah, she's quirky. Loved it, though. Might just watch her show again today.... Anyway, Chik was wearing an old school Red Sox jacket and jeans; very casual. Ellen mentioned that Chik is nothing like Mackey, but he interrupted and said, "I'm not sure I'm all that different anymore," then told a story about how he, Walton Goggins, and Kenny Johnson handled Autumn's first "drop-off party" at a theme park. It seems Uncle Walton and Uncle Kenny are a bit protective of the Chiklis girls... the 3 of them sneaked around with 2-way-radios and "triangulated" poor Autumn while she was at the park -- to keep an eye on her! Chiklis said he asked Autumn if she had fun and she answered, "Yeah, did you? Did you go on any rides, Dad?" lol They were busted! Who could miss that shining baldness?! He loves his girls and showed updated pictures of them... he evidently coached his 6 yr. old's soccer team... he said that waitresses and stewardesses always offer Autumn drinks - champagne/wine, etc. beause she is so tall/mature looking, and she just says, "No thanks. I'm twelve." lol Ellen asked Chik if he was ticklish. When he said no, Ellen asked him to take off his shoe. He was like, "What the.... ?" But he did it and put his foot up on her lap. She was about to take off his sock when he said, "No, I have the worst Fred Flintstone feet imaginable." So she pulled out the fabric on the bottom of his sock and cut it off with scissors!! He was cracking up, and then Ellen reached around her chair and pulled out a giant feather. Now everyone was cracking up; hardly a fair tickle test! Anyway, after Ellen's tickling on his bare sole didn't get him to laugh she started blowing on his foot and batting her eyelashes at him.... he lost it, but it was decided that he was NOT in fact ticklish. Overall a fun interview --glad I watched it. No spoilers or in-depth character discussion, but a good impression of Michael Chiklis' personality; I love him all the more now.....
