Me again! This time I have some updated information on what our Lovable Lem has been up to.....
Rumor has it that Kenny Johnson will appear in an upcoming episode of Smallville. When? I have no clue. I hear he is going to play an all-powerful, tatooed, badass named Tommy Lee; a nasty villian who kills people with electricity! (Or is it an electric guitar?!) I wonder who the inspiration for that character was?? This information came from a fan on a message board, so take it as such. I take full responsibliity for spreading lies if that's what it comes to! lol
I do, however, have proof that KJ is starring as the character Lou in the film, Zzyzx, directed by Richard Halpern (nice last name!). You can see the trailer at www.zzmovie.com. Imdb.com gives the plot outline as, "Zzyzx, the road, may lead to nowhere, but three people find themselves baking in a desert of murder, mystery, manipulation and greed when the legendary road becomes the place where their destinies collide."
Here is Lou (Kenny Johnson) dancing:
There is some interesting actual history concerning Zzyzx Rd. here. Visit the official movie site to view the trailer. This movie is slated for a 2005 release.
"Desolation Canyon," a made-for-TV movie, currently in post production is slated to air on the Hallmark Channel this year. This movie is directed by David S. Cass, Sr., and stars Patrick Duffy and Stacey Keach. Kenny plays Press Reynolds in this Western. Interestingly, David Rees Snell (Ronnie Gardocki) also has a part in this movie; David's character is named Edwin. I found some pictures of Kenny and David on the set at this website. Scroll down toward the bottom to see 'Desolation Canyon' pictures. The one labeled 'David Snell' just doesn't look like him, imho.
Kenny played Heatseeking Dennis in 1998's Blade, and the character Jimmy Joe in the 2001 film, "Going Back" a.k.a. "Under Heavy Fire," starring Casper Van Dien; a film about a group of Marines that return to Vietnam with a news crew to relive their tragic war experiences.
Here is a photo of Kenny from that film:
Yikes!
I just love this publicity photo of Kenny's:
Woooooo!
