Don't know if its already been discussed, but I just saw a promo that The Shield will be on WGN starting September 23rd at 10:30pm Central. Not sure if this is just for the Chicago Land area or if its for the Superstation viewers as well.
I am hoping they don't edit out the good stuff just because it's on broadcast television now. Probably will.
(congrats to me on my first post here)

Did Spike TV ditch reruns of the Shield? I havent seen any on lately.
Thanks for the heads up...I still haven't seen Of Mice and Lem and the ep right before that. Now if theyd just hurry up and get to S5, I'll be all set!

If FX keeps with their usual schedule of showing reruns, about halfway through the season of Nip/Tuck we can expect reruns to start *if* that new Courtney Cox show doesnt push The Shield back to March or April. My sister uses iTunes though. She said she'd download the two eps I missed. ;D

Well the censorship on the WB was even worse than I thought it would be. In the pilot episode Saturday night, they couldn't say 'Terry is going to pop his cherry tonight'. I am happy that another station is airing The Shield, but why couldn't it be TNT or something. This show just isn't meant for a network.

If they are going to delete something that innocous, future eps are going to be 15 minutes long with no sound!! Sheesh.

Leave it on FX or Spike.

For anyone in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, KTXA 21 is going to start showing Shield reruns this fall also.

^ I watched the CW episode the other weekend. They edited out probably 10 minutes in the first 20 minutes of the show. Claduette's ghetto speech was severly edited, the part where Vic grabs the sack of drugs off the guy's nerts was edited, and Terry's cherry popping line spoken by Vic was edited.
Stuff like this doesnt belong on network TV. It belongs on cable.

KTXA is a new channel in DFW so I'm interested to see how they will run the show. They do show SouthPark reruns untouched, from what little I've seen. I do agree also that network channels aren't where our show is supposed to be. I hate watching things edited from the orginal way they were made.

I saw it on my channel guide, and it WAS ON AT 1100 AM. I didn't even bother. I didn't think the censorship would be that bad, but hearing what everyone is saying I'm glad I didn't bother.
My guess is that it was the Networks decision to sell it into cindication(I know I didn't spell that right) and not the production staff. Damn suits and wanting more moeny.
The Shield does not belong on the same station and 7th Heaven and The Gilmoure Girls. What's next, they put it on Nick and all it is, is the 1st scene from S3 with the ST in the car listeng to "Pina Colada"

I hate that it is censored even more than FX.....They need to have an uncensored DVD so Vic and the gang's actions can be seen in entirity (sp?)
