When Shane and Lem are talking at the end, right after Shane realizes what he's going to do Lem says that he wants to talk to Vic. Shane tells Lem that Vic will call when he loses his tail then says to Lem, "We can't let Kavanaugh catch us with you man." Lem gets this look on his face like something just isn't right and Shane of course can't hide the look on his face. This goes on for several seconds before Shane just totally changes the subject and tells Lem that Mara is pregnant again. What does everyone make of this? I've watched it a few times now and still feel like I'm missing something. I think that Lem knew right then and there not to trust what Shane might do next, and realized at that point that Shane was out for himself. Think about it, Shane really should have said something more like "we can't let Kavanaugh catch you with us." That would show you're looking out for someone else as opposed to yourself. Anyway this really seemed like one of those Shield moments that then writers want you to think about because of the look on Lem's face and how long it went on for, but the more I think about it the more I wonder. Any thoughts anyone?

I think when Shane said that "We can't let Kavanaugh catch us with you man." and you see that look of Lem, he might think that something's wrong, but Shane is his buddy. And Lem didn't want to realize what he might be up to...
