I can't believe we made it through an entire season without ACC peeking his head onto TSR...anyone know where he is or more info?

A Clean Cop was a regular poster at a now defunct Shield fan site that many of us used to frequent. He is a member here, but has never posted. I suspect he lurks around, though.

He also got married between seasons and I can see ACC as a ball-and-chain kind of husband, ha ha.

As I recall, ACC was quite prolific there too! Wasn't he the top TSF poster? Like, he would put Josephus [an ancient Jewish priest, scholar and historian] to shame with his expertise and commentary!
If ACC is around here, how can he possibly bear not posting??

If I remember right, he was a big supporter of Season 4 right up until the end, but was disappointed in the final outcome. If season 5 didn't do it for him, I'd be shocked.
The only thing season 5 leaves me wanting for is MORE.
Sooner or later, I will come to grips with Lem's death. Dramatically, it was incredible. But it's never easy saying goodbye to a friend.
Nobody in the real world understands why a TV characters death has affected me so much this week. I sure am glad you guys are here.

Wasn't James Joyce one of the first who first experimented with the concept of a novel within a novel? Was it Finnegan's Wake? The fictional writer of a novel is writing about a fictional writer writing a novel full of fictional characters who communicate with the writers, both real and fictional! #wacko# Yeah, my essay about that one was so Joyce-esque it garned an A without ever being understood by the prof! hahahahaahaha
So you know I am quite happy to be a real TSR member with a somewhat fictional role and a very real fan of a fictional world created by real writers who murdered my favorite fictional character, for whom I have cried very real tears this week!!!

I haven't read Finnegan's wake, but I think want to now. CC, does that mean you dazzled your prof with your brilliance or baffled him (or her) with your bullshit? Who cares, right? I like your last paragraph--well-stated!

if you're not ready to jump in with all that is Finnegan's Wake I very highly recommend Tom Carson's Gilligan's Wake, a satire featuring a psych-ward patient who thinks he's Maynard Krebs (Bob Denver's character in Dobie Gillis) - the story takes place in the Cleaver Ward under the supervision of Dr. Kildare F. Troop - it's quite hilarious
and ACC, I can't believe you didn't join us - marriage can't be that all-consuming - and we know Mrs. ACC is a fan of the show
