Okay Ladies and Gents--
It's time for the Shield Nudity Thread (SNT). After being in the chat room tonight, I realized there has been LOTS of nudity in The Shield. Let's get it all out now. Lately, I have been greatly disappointed in the amount of male nudity. Come on, where's the love??
--Tonight - Shane's ass. WTF? Waiting for a nip slip anyone from the grotesque Mara? Damnit.
--Last week: Lem's hard body in a towel that the queen bitches probably couldn't wait to slip off.
--Decoy Squad running around nude. Sure, the chick did a little dance, but then the guy waved a dollar bill in his mouth. Unnecessary.
MORE FEMALE NUDITY. TINA, ANYONE??
--Dan

I loved seeing Shane's tight, gorgeous BUTT-OCKS! Am I right, girls?? Ronnie's turn! ;D
I could have done without the big fat dead dude, though. You gotta wonder how it feels to be in the room with actors doing naked stuff(ing).
I wanted to barf seeing Mara again, esp without clothes. She makes me feel physically ill. If K wants to get into the Team, that's a weak spot right there. Mara will trade Shane for a jail sentence without batting a fake eyelash.

remember the nudity in S2 (esp in the deleted scene version) when Vic busts into the hotel room thinking he's caught Corrine with a new lover?
ouch

let's not forget diagur snackin' on his g/f--not once, but twice.
there was also the rape scene with the black hooker caught on spycam last year.
what I wonder about in scenes like the ones between shane and mara is if they put something over mara's pussy and how much does shane (and mara) get aroused during filming of such scenes? i.e., how DO they actually film those scenes? hmmm ... I think it's time we ask glen something related to this thread? anyone want to ... er ... come up with something? (pun intended).

the guys probably wear cocksocks, thats what most shows and movies do. julian mcmahon talked about that in an interview ( i think it was the entertainment weekly one the whole nip/tuck cast did this past season). though im sure its not the case for the shield, a few years ago, i believe it was mira sorvino, dont quote me, came out and said that she knows that a lot sex scenes in hollywood films arent faked, i somehow think if that was true in a lot of cases we'd have heard about it, and camera men and other crew would have snuck out some porno-like shots.

That big fat guy was completely ridiculous in last night's episode. Lem was topless when IAD came to get him.

That big fat guy was completely ridiculous in last night's episode. Lem was topless when IAD came to get him. He may look nasty, but he's getting acting gigs! Who was the wierd looking parolee who chopped up the body? He looks vaguely familar. God, where does the production team find these people?? Maybe our expert research bitch, E, can find something on him. ? Oh, and it always amazes me how many of the show's illegals can speak English while 40% of children in some counties of Arizona cannot!

You found this actor, uncredited in the part, just by his butt? Wow. You *are* the Goddess of Info! He certainly looks better with his clothes on, thanks. Maybe I won't have nightmares tonight!

Hopefully you don't have sweet dreams, either, L.I.....Just jokin'! I thought the Diagur scenes were hot! Any guy willing to take time out to please his woman has my vote! I think that this season is going to push the boundaries a little bit in all directions. I am still patiently waiting for Ronnie and Vic! You guys won't be disappointed, either. Good things come to those who wait. You have two hot women on board this season...

I think The Shield pushed the boundaries just as far as they could in the scene when the Strike Team had the Pro Ballplayer in 'custody' and his casual hookup came to visit him.

You know any man with a sack (who isn't 100% gay) would have a hard-on making a scene like that. There's no way he couldn't....

Remember Pilot? One of the first scenes had that naked chick sprawled out on the floor. I think that's the closest we've gotten to bare lady nipples.

I thought the most explicit scenes were the video tapes by gang bangers of black women in doggy style positions...even though there wasn't that much nudity. Diagur snacking on his girlfriend was pretty explicit.
Hollywood, have you ever done a sex scene? I mean a NOT real one for a camera! Don't these guys get hard-ons anyway? How does the cocksock prevent a stiffy from getting in the way?

You talkin to me?
Yeah, I've done em and I've directed em.
Professionals know that the body responds to friction, but at the same time there are SO MANY people fully clothed surrounding you, and it gets so technical that it's pretty un-sexy for the participants. The director (and sometimes that's me) is yelling at you to go faster, slower, keep your face in/out of the light, hold a certain angle so you're blocking/not blocking the camera, etc. And everyone always wants to get to the next take, you're on a schedule, and the girl is usually always late because she's getting body makeup on to hide her cellulite.
That being said, socks and patches can be standard issue, but mostly it's just patches.

Eddie... we ALL know that! #roflao# Um, exactly what kind of films are you acting in and directing? Do any of them have the name "Debbie" in the title?? Gees, if so... I might have seen way more of you than I care to know about!!

But you make some very interesting points, EK. Especially the camera angle part. Think about all the times our pupils dilate hoping for just a glimpse of whatever only to discover that a thigh or an arm puts it just out of view. So I can imagine all the effort that must go into just that part of it and how it can be a buzz kill. (Tell the truth now ... how many of you wound back the tape and ran it over and over in slow motion, even freeze frame, hoping to see Trish's nipples when she streaked? #bigdevilaugh# All the yelling by the director? How come that isn't picked up during shooting? Well, I guess in certain movies a lot of the sound can be added later ... you know, that rhythmic kind of funky jazz background music, heh.

a general word on nudity on the shield - I think sometimes they use it just because they can and its kinda edgy. the scene with shane and mara wasnt necessary to get a point across. on the other hand, the guy that died on (in? ) the chick, really was a good way to go when talking bout nudity as a dramatic element. as for me ... I'd like to see some unnecessary nudity involving the new female trainee.
