Any ACC sightings these days?? Anyone know where A Clean Cop went off to?? Gonna be back before the season starts? Is he already here under a different name? He's about all I can remember from The Site That Shall Not Be Named that is not already here... --Dan

Dunno, Dan. He signed on as ACC a few months ago but has never posted. I heard he was recently married, for whatever that's worth. A look at his profile shows that he wants his email hidden, so we'll just have to wait and see if he comes around once the season starts.
By the way, were you dtpollitt on TSF as well? How long were you a member there? I was no longer a member, effective Nov., '04

I actually had a snail mail address for ACC and dropped him a line after TSF closed and I know he's lurked around but, as Chem said, he hasn't posted yet - I'm hoping that once the S5 premiere date approaches he'll jump in - the only email address I have is the old one from TSF and that's hopelessly out-of-date - I was in contact with Nancy about a week ago and she said she hasn't heard from him either so who knows
so, ACC, we're waiting for your second coming, dude, ha ha
(and when you post, let me know what you thought of Syriana and Munich)

Chem-- Yeah, I was on TSF since about between S2-S3 (can't remember exactly when) but did not post very much. I was doing my undergrad and didn't have my own computer all the time so I used my valuable TSF time to read the postings rather than respond. Needless to say, I was on the board off and on but didn't post a lot. Now I can can both. --Dan

Hmmm, I remember ACC being quite dissatisfied with Season 4... at least, I remember, back on TSF, in the episode thread for 4x13 "Ain't that a shame", he posted a negative review for that episode, and expressed strong discontent/disappointment with S4. I also remember having posted my own review right after his, which wasn't all that positive either (now, after repeated viewings of S4, it wouldn't be all that bad anymore). I can't imagine him having turned his back on TS - and he signed on here! - but maybe his enthusiasm has suffered a bit. I remember he advised the Shield writers to take a long break... maybe the fact that the break was in fact pretty damn short feeds his pessimism...? And that's why he's lurking instead of posting...? I don't know, I would love to see ACC's in-depth analyses on this board... we miss you, man!

A guy once said to me "the easiest thing in the world is to correct someone else's writing." He was talking about grammar, style, etc., but I think it applies to content, as well. Sure, I had problems with some of the things that happened in S04, but I think it would be somewhat self-righteous to quit the show because of perceived writing lapses--unless of course one can convince Shawn Ryan to hire them because they can do it better. In other words, people can say whatever they want, but I won't take them too seriously unless they are a published writer themselves. Else, take your seat in the peanut gallery with the rest of us.

arne, I remember his displeasure as well.
I'm sure his enthusiasm is guarded but I have a sneaking suspicion that, if Season 5 starts out strong tonight, we'll see his face soon enough.
I can only hope, anyway. I sent him an email to the address from the TSF website, but it must have been out of date because I never heard back from him.

maybe now that Teri is on board ACC will show too - even though he was disappointed with S4, he never, to my knowledge anyways, lost his enthusiasm for the show - it was just one more thing to debate on the boards
