Standing (from left): Kurt Sutter (aka "Margos"), me, Shawn Ryan, my son Marcus, my daughter "Maggie", Scott Rosenbaum. Seated: I don't know! I should look them up. The guy in the ball cap was playing solitaire the whole time we were there. Not pictured: Glen Mazzara (but I have a separate pic with him)

Lucky dogs, huh!! I think the visit in April was Chem's *third*!! Chem's son, Marcus, is easy on the eyes, eh?

Chem - "seated" people in your pic are: (left to right) Charles "Chick" Eglee, Adam E. Fierro (our hero!), Sarah Fain, and Liz Craft.

Tell us something about Charles Eglee. What is his role on the production team?

Chem and I did meet Chick Eglee during our visit in April but he's not exactly what anyone would describe (outsiders anyway) as "talkative." He seemed to keep to himself and didn't really talk to anyone. Adam says that he is the "street lingo" expert of the writers - all of the urban slang apparently comes from him, and he takes pride in knowing it well. He dresses the part too, very upscale "street" - baseball caps, expensive sunglasses, baggy jeans. As for his "actual" role on the production team, he's a writer and co-executive producer. He has one of the most impressive writing "pedigrees" of the group - having previously written for Dark Angel, NYPD Blue, LA Law, Moonlighting, and St. Elsewhere, among others!! He seems to be very well respected and an important member of the team. ~peach

susie47, go to the "board" called "our visit to the set Apr05" for a lot more. Also, Peach or I will soon resume posts with pics and narrative about the visit--the story is far from over!

So that's Kurt in the beanie right? What was it like to meet him? I'm just curious.

So that's Kurt in the beanie right? What was it like to meet him? I'm just curious. It was actually a headband. not a beanie but that's hard to tell in the picture. This last time I didn't have the opportunity to talk to him much. I said something lame like "I see you recovered from your gunshot wound" while we were posing for the photo. In '02 when I had lunch with him, Scott R., Glen M. and Kim Clement, it was sort of like having lunch with the guys at work (well, except for Kim, heh) ... they were very laid back, joking around. I don't remember a whole lot of what we talked about--I don't have that good a memory. Maybe one too many head inuries? heh

I remember that guy playing solitare from the DVDs. He dresses all thugged-out but actually does a great job of relating to other minorites. Not real sure if what I just said is all P.C...
I wonder what episode they are working on now? Probably close to the FINALE RIGHT NOW!!
