Coudln't help this one...I'm sure all of you see it coming too but it's fun to talk about. In the promo for Episode 5, they show Shane in a few different lights/scenes as he's obviously the focus of the episode. But one of them is of him in what looks like a store security camera or something of the like. It brought to mind the garage sting. Shane makes fun of it all the time, and said last week, "the Garage Sale! That's still going on? I love that" just to be a dick.
Who here bets that some surveillance video from the Garage sting catches Shane doing something illegal? Just a fun little prediction based on what I saw in the promo...maybe it's something the guys can hang over his head, although pissing him off wouldn't be right considering if he did get busted they'd all be in trouble...but still, the information would be useful to Vic or even Rowling.

That would be a way of having Shane eat his words, wouldn't it? ;DAnd Shane did tip Antwon off about stolen air bags that were to be dropped off at a garage. So maybe he went to visit that garage for some other purpose. By the way, the idea of stolen air bags seemed strange to me--I was thinking, WTF? -- stolen air bags? Somehow, stolen air bags just don't strike me as being a black market commodity, but maybe they are(?). I think they are pretty expensive, but would seem awkward to deal with. How about stolen catalytic convertors, which use precious metals? When those first came out I remember that crooks were in fact cutting them off cars.

Good prediction, Fju! I like the way you pay attention to things and take off with clues and hints. Me...I can barely digest what I've seen on Tuesday nights...it takes me another three viewings to not only follow the storyline but THEN maybe pick up on where the writers are taking us! I was noticing Dean White directed last week's ep. I really like his work! He has such a natural instinct about featuring the many moods of Vic. And take it from this girl, I sure thought Vic was looking F-I-N-E in that ep! Great angles and expressions... heh, Peach and Ky?? White brings out the best in our favorite bad boy!! So far, I am liking season 4 a lot more than I did season 3. I would say it's on par with the first season, which seems to be like the Torah to Shieldianity! It may well be heresy to admit this, but I didn't like season 3 nearly as much as 1 and 2. I couldn't get into the whole Money Train thread... it seemed to alter the entire pace of the show, draining energy from everything else, and grew stale in comparison to previous storylines. It didn't seem to grab much attention from potential fans, either. As for predictions, I still feel certain Aceveda will kill Sara in an out-of-control venting of the rage going on inside of him. But that idea also seems entirely too obvious. I haven't been able to predict a damn thing about this series yet!! Yeah! ;D

Woooooo! Ep 5 was ass-kickingly good, if you ask me!! I loved it. Thought it was the best one this year!
Ok, Fju.... I can hardly wait to hear your review, observations and predictions for Ep 6!
Go for it, baby!! ;D ;D ;D

wow, guess I'm doing a decent job here...a few weeks ago when things reallly ramped up at work I was afraid I'd have no time to post! This and one other message board on the internet are the only ones I post on regularly...I choose carefully... ;D Wow, that was a great episode. Ep. 4 directed by Dean White; I noticed that too, that was great work. Last night Vic looked good too (in a strictly hetero- kind of way, haha). Seriously though, the angles were good, even if it didn't have the same "rough" feel they fall back on a bit less often now. I didn't catch most of the second viewing (that's the only reason I'm usually sharp on the reviews every week). But starting from the end and working back, that shooting scene was pretty creepy. The way they ended the episode, with Antwan saying what he said...for me, it was borderline shock value, but it got the job done. But the shooting itself, the way they shot it, was interesting...with Margos last season, they had no problem showing the bullets go right through him. Hey, the show is anything but soft, but the angle was strange - I actually liked how they did the whole scene, including that moment, just noting it. From the beginning on...yeah, I agree w/ Chik; Aceveda is going to kill her and leave some evidence behind, something like that. Wasn't he an a**hole too - "I pay for what goes on in there; not for the small talk." Great stuff. And then at the meeting; "learn to do what I say and you'll be just fine". I'm back to hating Aceveda big time, like I did in Season 1...the writers did a good job of bringing the jackass side of him back, with a vengeance, but for a reason (the raping) so we can hate his attitude toward Vic & Rowling while also seeing the writing on the wall in the episodes ahead. *Semi-Spoiler alert* What a slick political move to trap Rowling like that too...they're headed for a big time confrontation. I cheated and read ahead in the TVtome.com episode guides, and it appears the first auction for the seized assets is a huge success. That will at least help Monica's case and prove for some interesting mini-battles this season. *** I felt horribly for Dutch! How awful was that? And hey, I like some Duran Duran songs... But Vic, Ronnie, Shane, and Army were all in the old clubhouse laughing it up, so it seems like Vic was establishing a little bit of trust to ease the tension. I agree with Chik, as well, that I'm liking Season 4 at this point more than I did season 3. I also agree that Season 3 lacked the atmosphere of 1 and 2, and the money train thing dragged on too long. Probably the reason they lost some viewers; you had to be REAL into the show to keep watching week to week, and the episodes didn't flow as well. OK, this is dragging, so even though I'm missing some important parts, I'll end end w/ this: I think Shane eventually has to go crying to Vic about what's going on and Vic needs to help bail him out by finding the body of the girl..maybe we'll see Natalie Zea and her dog turn up again?? Random thoughts - I liked how they show Ronnie take someone out; he seems slightly more involved this season and I like that. I liked how Lem and Vic finally talked about what's going on w/ the old team and how Lem got some of that energy out on camera. I definitely like Close as Rowling more and more and hope, depending on how the season ends, she comes back for one more season. Episode 6...I liked the promo, how it's "about stopping Shane, not just protecting him now". It'll be interesting to see what happens, as always!

And how wrong was I about the garage sting?? damn...lol. Sometimes they show stuff in the promo that never gets on screen. I dont' remember Shane asking "so where is this place?" and then getting the look from Vic? I don't remember seeing shane in black and white at any time during the episode either. ah well..

**semi-spoiler alert**
I looked ahead and tvtome.com updated their episode guide for season 4. we have some trouble comin' our way! In two weeks, Antwan says he'll produce angie's body if Shane agrees to KILL Vic! That's crazy. I also heard Brian White (Tavon) is expected to make a return toward the end of the season. Good stuff.
