She is kind of quirky-looking? Where do I know that face from? I am hating him right now, but liking her... something tells me she ends up DEAD

She seems like a seasoned pro. At first she looked better, or did they just make her up different? I got a kick the way she was laying out the rules for Aceveda. Sounded like the referee before a prize fight: "slapping, but no blood, hair pulling is OK, as long as it doesn't come out, no marks, choking all right as long as you don't get carried away." Sounds like good marriage vows for some. Aceveda was getting turned on just hearing it.

Questions is, could she end up dead by Aceveda's hand? Hmmmmm..... Ky

I didn't pay that much attention to how she looked but yeah, her evasiveness at first was good and then the way she set the rules was interesting. Definite potential for some pretty intense scenes with her and Aceveda, esp. the way his character is developing in that aspect. ky

Her facial features didn't catch your eye? She is interesting-looking...not gorgeous per se, just... interesting. I know I have seen this actress somewhere else.
In any case, I laughed when she set up all of the rules. What a way to spoil the mood, eh? Acevada needs to act out some frustration...and her rules will cramp that effort... that's why I think he might go nuts (pardon the pun) and kill her. And she will be a problem at some point, regardless, for the up and coming (wooo! Pun city!) politician... there can be only one end result. Gotta knock her off to prevent the possibility of blackmail. It's a given, no?

she will be david's undoing,, i don't like aceveda to begin with,,,
but i know him, he will get out of hand, and she will have video's and pics of them,,,
some of him hitting her,, and she will use it as bribery,,,,, or his opponent will....
my 2 cents

My God, is Aceveda a TOTAL a**hole this year or what?? The big Hispanic macho councilman...paying a woman to pretend she's being raped... and letting her tell him he's being too rough! At some point, he is going realize how pathetic he's being...and Sara will be whore toast. Now, Copperhead, do tell...what is Black Rose?

Ya know, that would be the first impression but then take into account what Sarah said to him about what they're doing being important. He found someone who can help him fight the demons inside in a safe way, as long as she can control him that is. Better than him having the rage build up inside and taking it out on whoever he nails. Here they're doing it together and who knows, might help him work things out. Sarah's become a Whore/therapist for him. I still think he will lose control and kill her in the end and thereby creating even more inner demons/trouble for Acevada. Ky

i pray she video tapes a session and broadcasts it on the net.. and sell it on TV.....
it will so toast David Aceveda's career.. the jerk that he is,, he won't even be a cop anymore...
if he gives her a gift with a receipt,,, she will have a paper trail...
what if some sicko rapes and kills her..... David will be the number one suspect....

You know, Deputy, you have a great idea there...something the writers would have thought up and I would never have, which is why I am going to click on the Psychics ad before I'll try to guess what's going to happen! I am sure this chick entertains the whims of other disturbed men...so it stands to reason another client ("patient"??) might smoke her. In the meantime, her pad is chock full of Acevada prints and DNA. Maybe she *does* keep a stash of videos somewhere as, you know, a retirement nestegg. Ok, think like a Shield writer...as in, what is the most outrageous possibility here...I know!! Turns out our dear Captainette is in fact a lesbian with her own frustrations. She runs into Sara at Cher Chez Le Femme, a hot lesbian nightclub, and they strike up a conversation (ala cliche lighting of a cigarette). Before you know it, Rawlings has a business card and an appointment... More as I think of it! Chem, can I borrow Adam Fiero's phone number?? Better yet, it might be time to set up the Fan Fic category...so we can share those crazy dreams inspired by a late night visit to Taco Bell...

As for the Black Rose, you'll need to do a search. Too much to explain here.....
Well, now, that's a thought....Capt. Rawling a lesbian?? Hell, I've thought that the first 2 minutes of the first episode. I've been keeping track of the Captain's "character" on each episode and I think we may have something there. Too soon to tell. Mainly that's who I concentrate on when I watch the show, sorry, but the men do nothing for me. Of course the Captain doesn't either but I sure do like her style!!
So, if no one minds, I'd like to start a thread dealing with the Captain's "persona" and see where it leads??

Copperhead, I would like to know more about your experiences with this. Are you a gay woman in law enforcement? Does anyone still care about that? I would like to think it doesn't matter anymore, but I bet it does!

Lead Investigator
Getting kinda personal aren't you? Just kiddin'. I'm pretty much like Rawling if you must know. Just not as good lookin!! Most departments don't care anymore however, there is the don't "broadcast" it rule. Larger cities have great support groups for gay/lesbian law enforcement officers. One is called: Pride Behind the Badge. You'll have to do a search for more. There is also a new law enforcement/firefighters/EMT dating site that has a section for gay/lesbian members.
If the women whom you watch the show with are interested in asking questions, tell them to drop me a line.

i don't think rawlings is a lesbian,,, how is this vic finds out about aceveda's the-rapist. and pretends to be a John, arrests her,,,,, she goes to aceveda for help,, or i am going to sing!!! does aceveda, help her?? killl her to shut her up? or denies everything,,,,, then she pulls out the video tapes and pics of rape,,, or vic, will tell david, play nice with rawlings,, and maybe i won't leak this stuff out to the press.. heh heh heh..

I'd bet if something came up David would try the denial route at first. Afterall, until evidence was produced, it'd be the word of an officer/city councilman vs. a hooker. Hmmmmm...... And then when evidence does come out I see Vic pulling that stunt. ;-) Ky
