from pifeedback.com:
The Shield (FX) - 1.949 million viewers - 1.3/2 HH - 0.9/3 A18-49
I think those must be the worst ratings in the shows history. WTF??

I was looking for them, thanks for posting them. I dunno man, I was wondering how they would be, not too good I guess. Although, like someone alluded to congregating around one tv, I watched it on a nice big screen with a couple friends.
P.S.
Where on the forum can the ratings be found? I only seen ratings for ABC, CBS, NBC, and FOX.

I read some of this on that forum, pifeedback.com I'm sure a lot of things play into ratings higher or lower.

I agree that downloading probably has a negative impact on the ratings for most shows, although as you pointed out there are arguements to be made for the opposite being true.
However, in The Shield's case I'm comparing its numbers to last season's (where downloads were just as readily available) and I'm seeing a huge drop of about 30% (1 million less viewers).
Now, as most people have pointed out in the other ratings threads I've started, the Shield has already been picked up for its seveth and final season, so there's no danger of cancellation. It's just that: a) as a fan of the show I'm genuinely bummed that it doesnt get the viewership it deserves and b) I cant figure out why so many people tuned out after last year's amazing season.

let us not forget that Tivo and DVR numbers do not add into the rating systems as well...

Good point.....the ratings are only a general measurement.
