Vic is clearly letting his vengeful motives get the better of him. In 6x2 we saw him steal a vehichle, walk right into a major gang leader's lair with a deathwish!, and kidnap an innocent woman.
This is a side of Vic we haven't really seen before. Even when Vic has been infuriated or pushed to act, he's never lost his cool quite like this before.
Aside from this looking like the beginning of what will be a tragic ending for our favorite "vigilante cop," what are your takes on the new Raged-Out Vic Mackey?

First off he has lost control like this before-Remember Armadillo???
I am personally getting tired of hearing Vic will go down, for all the wrongs he as done. I am a Vic enabler and Vic going to jail at the end of the series is unacceptable to me. Vic must get away with everything, or I fear the greatest show ever will be completely ruined for me. At the very least Vic needs to go down in a hail of gunfire.

i like this vic. he's filled with guilt and remorse for his past sins and is letting loose. plus, if someone killed your best friend, wouldn't you do the same?

Vic didn't lose his cool, he kept his head every step of the way! He knew what he wanted and what he had to do to get it and he hasn't let anyone stop him doing what he needed to do!
If Vic gets away with it all it would be a miracle, Badcop! I think most here would like to see that happen, he sure has some mess to clean up before he's 'in the clear'. Something that has compelled me to watch the show repeatedly is the question 'how is Vic/strike team going to get out of this??' I ask that just about every episode! It is the ultimate question.

He has lost his control over his emotions at least when he went after armidello he wasn't facing a gang of ten only one in armidello's kitchen and he had the strike team covering his back and had them there to make him quit when he went to far. He is running around doing things without fully thinking through the what if's. I blame Shane for that if he would just come clean then Vic would have a chance to think and stop his emotions of getting the best of him. He needs to take a step back and look at the whole picture of what he is doin. IN the past he always had someone covering his back another gang strike team now he is just making enemies of everyone.

I'm geting a bit queasy watching this season's Vic. Maybe because we know that he's taking out his rage on all the wrong people. . . I guess it's really no different than framing the Irish guy for the money train heist and allowing the Armenians to torture and kill him.

Some people say Vic must go down and must pay for what he's done or it won't be right. Most of the things in this show have never been "right". He is the "hero" here. Him getting away scot free or at least walking away from things on his own accord would be very fitting and what I want to see. I don't think for a second that people on here are really on board with the idea of a real life dirty Cop like his character but that's the beauty of television. Shows like this are a release from the stress of life and a chance for us to suspend disbelief. He has, as has been mentioned, lost his cool before. This season has though taken him to new levels. His rage is like never before, even with all he's done before. He's smart enough to cover himself better than anyone. Never before has so much set up material been great stuff in its own right.

I love how you could see the weight lifted off his shoulders after he pulled that trigger last night. He looked like a kid on christmas morning after getting what he thinks is justice for Lem
