As much as it kills me to say it.... Shane is helping the Strike Team. Because of the guilt he has from killing Lem he isn't going to let Vic get in trouble. It's like he wants to become the conscious (Lem).... it's weird, I still hate him but does anyone have any similar thoughs....or am I just weird?

I think he's justacting as if he doesn't want Vic to figure out it was him that killed Lem. I also think he feels kind of guilty knowing the wrong person is going to get it.
BTW nice avatar

I dont' think Shane gives a rat's ass about someone else taking the fall for Lem's death. Any remorse he seems to show is driven by his own conscience of what he did. He would like to have himself free and clear of the whole situation but his guilt and "need to do things right" will ultimately confuse him to the point where he gets caught. We all know the shit is well on it's way to the fan, just a matter of how quick it gets there.

Did Shane give himself away a little bit last night? He said Lem wouldn't go to Mexico and it got him killed. The guys didn't know that Lem wouldn't go did they? I wonder if Vic and Ronnie will pick up on that.

I have to say my feelings toward Shane are starting to change. I think he is being eaten away by guilt and it's only going to get worse. I mean, holy crap, he just told Ronnie what he did as a supposed "lie" to get Vic off the hook with Kavanaugh, once they found out that evidence was found at Vic's place. You could see the agony in Shane's face. I'm so torn...

I think there were some good points raised here...
I think ultimately Shane was worried about Vic getting into trouble... But what would (or will) happen when/if Vic gets his hands on Guardo, and Guardo doesn't confess? Will Vic take it as being B/S? The trend we've always seen is that the hardcore Mexi-Bangers ALWAYS seem to confess to murders, even if they did not commit them. Could Guardo do the same? Or will he deny?
What happens if Guardo was actually in Mexico during Lem's Death, or has another air tight alibi (especially since he wasn't involved)?

Shane is giving things up when he told Ronnie that he should say a gernade went off accidently that lem wouldn't go to Mexico I think the next episode something will come out when I saw the preview of Vic going after gaurdo with a chain and Shane says he can't be a part of that. shane is torn between what to do I think the next episode will be something to see what Shane does. He is scared and covering his self but at the same time he is thinking of Vic and what would happen if vic kills the wrong guy. I think this season is the best one yet they are showing us just what vic is capable of and Shane's guilt and his self examination of what he has done. We have never seen this side of any of them!!
