I missed it when I watched the next to last episode... probably because I always loved that Smashing Pumpkins song.... but what amazing foreshadowing with the 4 of them around the table.... song playing.....
"the killer in me, is the killer in you....." I mean, Vic, the cop killer -- > Shane, the cop killer.... wow... amazing... can't stop thinking about it.... unreal.... great job!

Great observation! Thanks for posting... ;D I love that song and can't get it out of my head! Which may make me hate that song; it's hard to tell.

The weird thing is that I'm truly split on whether or not that's foreshadowing.
I just thought it was a cool song to play at the end of an ep.
Now, with that suggestion, and the knowledge that every song at the end of an ep has meaning, I dunno...

I thought the previous episode's title "Of Mice and Lem" was great foreshadowing as well. In the novel Of Mice and Men, Lennie (Lem... Len... coincidence?) goes to meet his friend at a prearranged location when he gets in trouble. When he is at the location, his friend kills him. If you really think about it, there are a lot of similarities between Steinbeck's novel and this season's Shield.

But... an amazing observation on your part.... very well done. I am glad I didn't pick up on it before the finale because although I hated my reaction (still reeling), I really hate spoilers. Now that you pointed it out so well, it would have been obvious had I paid more attention. Great job and insight!

i thought the forshadowing of The Killer in Me was something completely different. I interpret it as all the things vic has done(the killer in me) is coming back to haunt lem(the killer in you)

Wow, I never would have picked up the Of Mice And Lem connection to Steinbeck. I've read the book a couple times, and knew it was a play on that...but just never really thought it out I guess.
Side Question: Has anybody seen Of Mice And Men w/ Gary Sinise and John Malcovich?

i thought the forshadowing of The Killer in Me was something completely different. I interpret it as all the things vic has done(the killer in me) is coming back to haunt lem(the killer in you) At the time 5:10 aired, I had no clue of foreshadowing for 5:11, but looking back on it, I think the lyrics "the killer in me is the killer in you" might signify that the killer in Vic is the killer in Shane. Vic killed Terry; Shane kills Lem. Vic molded Shane into the killer he has become....

I'm sorry... but to be Vic... what the f*ck is your point?

What the f*ck is your point, luvinlem? Is it that you're the only one who can make this observation? Is it that since you started this thread, only you can express that point of view to other participants in this thread? Is it that anyone who agrees with you can't also post that opinion? Get real and get over it.

I actually laughed when I typed it and said the vic comment to imply my Sarcasm. I guess some people are just thin skinned. I am real. I wasn't upset. I suggest you get over it. (The smiley is again... my sarcasm. No offense meant - however, I think it might be easy to offend you. Therefore, I will apologize in advance for any and all postings... ok, sarcasm again... get my point yet.... lol. btw, intonation means... well... look it up.... www.dictionary.com... oh, wait... there goes that sarcasm again... damn! I'm not the only member who assumed you were jumping on me, btw. I got several PMs about your post..... there was nothing in it that suggested you were kidding around at all.
