i read in an issue on tv guide magaize that the new d.a woman is gonna be vics love interest, and she will bring out feelings in vic we have never seen before. This goes along with my other thread of being worried if vic is still gonna be badass

Just looking at some of the promo pics on the "other" site, he still looks pretty badass.
And who knows if those "feelings" are gonna be warm 'n' fuzzy? Love/lust/whatever can make us pretty wierd...

If that's the case, yeppers, time for Vic to die and shut 'er down.

i don't see them killing Vic off. Too much of a clean-cut, full circle ending...and it would be real lame. Vic isn't the good guy, but he's not the bad guy either, so in a world of moral ambiguity, what would be the point of killing him off? I think this season will wrap things up nicely but Vic won't die.
about season 5, what's the deal with when they're airing the episodes - is it confirmed that they're going to air 10 or 12 of them, then hold off 6 months to a year and air the rest?

Good to see you again, fju. The answers to your Qs are yes and no (there won't be a 6-month hiatus)--see reply #40 in the "member Qs for Glen Mazzara?" thread (Inside Info board). What has not been confirmed, despite rampant speculation, is that 2006 will be the end of The Shield.

It seems to me that Glen's response has to do with the Season 5 shooting schedule, not the airing schedule. No reason why those two should necessarily coincide.
