When I've watched the trailers or read any reviews, I've wondered what in the hell this movie is really about. Here's a good synopsis from Mandy.com.
Might be considered a spoiler so read at your own risk!!!
_____________________________________________
Buddies Lou and Ryan are on their way for a weekend of fun in Las Vegas, but Ryan convinces Lou to make a brief turn off Highway 15 at Zzyzx Road. The legend of the road’s origin and its founder Carl Ziller have become an obsession for Ryan, as has the mystery surrounding the death of 11 of Ziller’s apostles, and his beautiful young wife Sophia.
In a game of dare gone crazy, Lou’s Delta 88 slams into a man staggering along the desert road, killing him. Lou quickly hides Manny in the back of his car when they spot someone approaching in the distance. Though Ryan wants no part of it, Lou picks up Candice drives her back to her stuck RV while her hubby lies dead under a blanket behind her.
At the RV, Ryan is near panic as Lou plots their plan. Candice seems to be plotting, too. When Lou and Ryan pass out from brews and shrooms, Candice tries to make her getaway, but finds that Lou has already disabled the car. Candice takes off on foot. Lou, outraged, chases. The Ziller broadcasts have infected Ryan’s brain. Caught again, Candice convinces Ryan to help her with Lou… and he does, but at a great cost to himself.
Candice is free from Lou, and Ryan is now out of the picture. Without a vehicle, she must walk out of the desert, but not before retrieving something that’s very near and dear to her, and it’s not Manny... not all of him.

Saw the trailer, and my daughter had my Visa in my hand before I could even think about it #biggrin# ! Of course, I didn't need to, I had already decided to get it. I was gonna download it but decided I wanted the DVD for my collection. I have about 150 DVD's. Gotta do something while the kiddies are in school! Watching this one should be fun!

It's a really cool flick... great plot twists and KJ ROCKS! I would have liked more blood, guts, and ultra-violence, but that's just me. Hey Richard.... come and get one in the yarbles! If you have any yarbles.....

< Was a little disappointed in the movie's ending. But I did like it. Kinda slow in the middle, IMO, but the ending was okay.
