^is that the series about a dog? Thought that was going to FX? I think this one is called Ride Along - it's set in Chicago and is a cop drama - IMDB doesn't have much yet: www.imdb.com/title/tt1620950/

I'm guessing she'll love it. Remember, she called The Shield's finale the "greatest series finale in the history of television." Maybe I'll search the Trib and see if I can find anything.

Kenny Johnson was in the first ep of Sons of Anarchy - his character says he wants to transfer to the Charming charter so I'm guessing that means KJ will become part of the regular cast

here's a good one - Benito Martinez is in one of those new cheesy SyFy Channel movies Mandrake - pretty funny - he plays a weasly dude, not unlike Aceveda, ha ha - I'm sure they will rerun it frequently
I thought Terriers was pretty good - I'm in for the season - it's WAY better than the two No Ordinary Family eps I saw at Comicon - speaking of, I got to meet Paula Garces - she was really cool - I will send a pic to Chem to upload
and, the new issue of Entertainment Weekly (Sept. 17) has The Shield as one of the '5 shows that changed TV' over the last 20 years:
"Basic cable came of artistic age, equal to both broadcast and pay cable, in 2002 with The Shield, a legacy that continues with Mad Men and Breaking Bad
(the other shows were Twin Peaks, The X-Files, Buffy, The Real World
hey Aussie Angel - don't know if you are into Nick Cave but I got tix to see him and his other band Grinderman in November

I don't mind Nick Cave, I do like his voice, his lyrics are a bit weird, interesting character though. The murder ballads are intriguing if you listen to the lyrics!

Michael Pena (Shane's partner Armando in S4) was in this season of Eastbound and Down on HBO - the show is so un-PC but I can't stop from laughing
