I just saw The Mist last night.... Laurie Holden was one of the main characters and it was directed by Frank Darabont. A pretty good horror flick, but didn't really grab me until the scene in the car.... gross, creepy, tragic... very Steven King. My daughter asked why no one had a cell phone to call for help or get information from the internet. I told her the book was written in the 80's -- at a time when cell phones were carried around in briefcases and the internet wasn't www yet. Then she wanted to know why none of the actors had big hair. Ahhh, kids today.... hahah.

wasn't a big part tonight but there was some nice foreshadowing between him and Tig that makes me think he'll be back in a big way - maybe not this season but for sure next - he looked good and kicked some Nazi ass

Obviously you all are way ahead of me in noticing Kenny on SOA. He is stepping in the gang end of season, but I agree he will probably serve in a larger capacity next season. Smart move on Kurt Sutter to gain some Shield audience who were left to mourn after what I feel was an abrupt wrap at the end.

if anyone is watching Dexter - the woman who plays Trinity's (John Lithgow) wife is Julia Campbell who is the real life wife of Jay Karnes - I think she played a lawyer in one Shield ep as I recall

during the SoA finale they showed a long preview of the new FX show Justified with Timothy Oliphant - it's undergone yet another name change apparently - last I heard it was called Lawman - anyways, Walton Goggins is a co-star - and he has a rocket launcher, ha ha - looks like a pretty good show
no KJ in the SoA ep for some reason - guess we have to wait until next year

Got very excited. Until I read on multiple web posts that his is merely an extended "guest star" role.

Haven't seen this mentioned yet but Walton Goggins in a movie with the legendary Hal Holbrook, "That evening sun." Walt is 3rd billed on IMDb.com and evidently plays Hal's son. The movie won 9 awards and was nominated in two others. The awards are from fairly minor film festivals. One of the awards was for best ensemble cast and included Walt.
Not sure when the movie aired but it's got a 2009 date. Anybody see it?

Anybody see it? it's playing in LA right now and I think it's a big favorite for some Indie Spirit awards - Hal Holbrook is supposed to be awesome - I think it's getting overshadowed by the new De Niro film which is basically the same story - our school is over on Tuesday so will try and get down to see it
