The greatest proboards coder that ever lived died last month; I only found out a few days ago.... His screenname was California, and he ran THE BEST coding forum on proboards..... socal.proboards26.comI just wanted to pay homage to Cali here, since most of the codes I've used to make this place as cool as it is were written by him. RIP good buddy.....

Wow, 20 years old. Rest in Peace. He must have been really good at computers, as you say, E.

His 20th birthday would have been this fall; he was just 19! Very, very sad; I'll sure miss his quirky ways and great disposition.... he was never impatient with me - he answered all my questions, even though he'd answered them 1000 other times for other people before me .... he helped me understand coding. The "see your own username code" I used in the Guest Room is my favorite 'Cali Code.' Yours too, right [#username] ?

No one will say..... I just can't imagine why the family would want to keep the cause secret. Suicide? Murder? Maybe revealing too much info would somehow interfere with the investigation? I dunno. Maybe the family already knows the cause of death and do not want to reveal it. Some things could only cause more harm than good to somebody's memory if revealed. If that is the case, he should be remembered for what he accomplished in life instead of how he died.

you're so right icy! i was at a funeral a few days ago and a very close friend of the deceased girl quoted a philosopher and it was something like that:"Life is a like play, it doesn't matter how it ends, we should only care about how it was played". so, i checked the site out, but i gotta say there's ain't much i understand! but that made me wanna try to make a french shield forum.
