Time for an all-Dutch thread! I am really liking him this year...how'd he get so cute?? Something about the strife and humility, I suppose. He's kind of...um...sexy?...this year! Ok, have to get my head examined. Anyway, I think all of the talk about him becoming a serial killer is non-sense. He has stresses, some of them extreme, from the work he does - but I don't see him killing any humans. And he's too busy kissing asses right now. Is Claudette being a bitch or just a woman with principles? Would you dump her as a partner if you were Dutch?

i'd dump claudette in a heart beat,, she is too morally bound,,, and it will cause her to crash and burn and at the end, she will end up regretting her actions....
as for dutch boy, he whispered into davids ear about the money train, without hard evidence, and will be in Vics poop list from this point forward,,, so don't expect him get out from under that,,,,
my 2 cents

They say it all starts with abuse and killing of animals...Dutch sure has set himself up to kill again... Plus, who wouldn't find *that* story arc interesting? Our dear Dutchboy as detective/profiler-cum-serial killer? Perhaps not the first time its been done but certainly compelling. Regarding Claudette, on the one hand I applaud her principles, but in that milieu she has to realize that certain 'moral flexibility' is required to have any improvement whatsoever. She can stand on principles as long as she wants, providing that she also does not mind no progress at all. I would say rather than compromise she is better served to go someplace where her rigid moral standards would be more suitable, where things are more black-and-white and less grey. And I think Dutch should dump her if she keeps it up - he's been an upstanding guy for putting up with her for this long - but even he understands that in a hurricane the big strong trees get toppled while the flexible ones stand....

From what I've heard he's set up pretty good for that type of character. ky
