The unburdening of Vic Mackey's soul was perhaps the greatest moment in the history of this show.
The expression of his face when he said that he murdered Terry Crowley and the laugh when he talked about ripping off the money train... phenomenal acting. If Michael Chiklis wins an Emmy for this I would not be a bit surprised.
Claudette's reaction was almost better (but not quite). She's gone. Her mind is gone.
And the way it ended... "I've done worse." Priceless. Absolutely priceless.

Jesus Christ. My head is still spinning from that last 10 minutes!
I still can't figure out which way this is going to go.
And yeah, Chiklis deserves an Emmy. Claudette lost her damn mind. I am in total shock.

I did too. I thought the one thing he'd never do is turn on Ronnie. He must have a plan. But it sure didn't look like it.

I agree with every word you wrote.Wow,I don't like wishing my life away but waiting for next week will be hard.I was a little dissapointed inVic giving up Ronnie but he was in a major jam and I guess blood is thicker than water. We'll see who is left standing and who has on handcuffs.

its impossible for him to get ronnie out of trouble this time, based on the contract if he warns ronnie if ronnie runs the contract is void

He only did it for the love of his kids, thinking their mother is going to jail. I do have a bad feeling he's going to get screwed...oh and yeah Claudette freaking out...hahaha!

I honestly think Vic will off himself next week. The very last scene in the preview, <<REMOVED>>
Edit: Contain discussion of the previews to the Snitches board, please!

The one thing I thought would never happen ever in this show would be Vic Mackey uttering the words "I killed Det. Terry Crowley." He has been denying that since episode two of season one. Chiklis deserves an emmy for that confession scene alone. Amazing acting.

When Vic passed up the chance to sign the deal the first time with Ronnie in the room I thought "That's it. By walking away he's giving it all up" I figured that would be the "tragic painful longing" in the final episode ... Vic one last time would stand firm and not screw his brother cop when he had the chance and at the end the deal would be sitting there as he gets busted and he would know he had a chance to save himself and left it sitting on the table.
F*ck-n-A I was a wrong!
As I wrote in the episode thread, Vic is a worthless piece of shit now. His loyalty to Ronnie was the only sliver of humanity he had left.
But we should have seen it coming. He had many chances this season to go a different way, but everything he chose was to save himself. First he tried to save his job. But then, when he had to give that up to go after Shane, all he had left was to save himself. Anyone who thinks Vic turning in his badge was somehow to help Ronnie is wrong. Vic HAD to get to Shane to save himself.
God I want this guy to go down so hard next week.

I can not get over what I just watched.....I honestly thought I would need a brown paper bag to breathe in after this was over. My heart is racing; I am getting a headache and I am still rooting for the 'bad' guy, Vic. I have never been so consumed with a show. Never. A few days after I gave birth to my son almost 3 years ago, I was laying in my bed recovering when they had a mini-Shield marathon on. I couldn't find the remote and I sure as heck wasn't getting up to change the channel. So I sat and watch and became instantly hooked. I found myself upset I didn't watch sooner. But I had alot to catch up on. The writers and actors all crazy insane wonderful. My mind is obessed with trying to figure out what is going to happen. Does Vic have one last pull for Ronnie...or not. Who will die? If anyone?? Geez I am going to be up all night. Sorry for the rambling but it's nice to know that I am not the only Shield obessed fan out there. A part of me can't wait for the 25th to come while another part is sad that there won't be any more episode to look forward to. Oh boy...ok I swear I am getting off here now, but... Vic's scene with all his confessions with Olivia's reaction and Duth and Claudette finding him....and finding all the secrets. OMG OMG OMG One more week ) Where's the Tylenol?? LOL

When Corrine got arrested, I figured Vic would go back to Olivia, without Ronnie. But the problem I have with all of this is that the feds can grant immunity only from federal prosecution. In the real world, Vic would still be wide open to state prosecution and all of the crimes he mentioned would be state offenses (some might have overlapping federal aspects, but the feds cannot grant immunity from state prosecution). Claudette should know that. If this point goes uncorrected or mentioned, I'll be disappointed in the lack of any realism.

The one thing I just can't get over is Vic burning Ronnie. After all he has done he is a LOYAL guy to the guy's that watch his back. I just can't see him changing that. That's my only complaint other wise FANTASTIC episode!

I honestly think Vic will off himself next week. The very last scene in the preview, <<removed>> I agree. I think something will void the contract (maybe something will happen to Beltran and that will do it?) and he will be faced with the death penalty or life in prison. I remember maybe last season he said something like, "I'll walk out the front door before I let them push me out the back." He did this literally a few episodes ago, but I think it could also tie into him choosing his fate before letting someone choose it for him (killing himself before he could be killed). My heart sank when he started to confess. As if I needed one last thing to prove in the end, it was all about Vic's bottom line. I have mixed emotions going into next week. I don't want it end, but I must see how it ends. I'm very emotional.
