. . . killed the hitman in episode 7.1? That is, killed him 5 minutes after stopping Vic from killing him because the hitman's blood was all over Vic's living room floor? Ronnie made it sound like he was doing Vic a favor, but I don't see how Ronnie's killing the guy was any less incriminating than if he let Vic do it himself.
Also, Ronnie killed the guy immediately after fetting Diro's cellphone number. Did Ronnie tell Vic about the cellphone number, and have either one of them attempted to do something with it?

because they(Vic and Ronnie) wanted Vic to be at the barn when the shots were heard and the police were called. He needed an alibi because the blood in his living room would have made him the top suspect. It worked out perfectly

Thanks. I didn't think Ronnie waited long enough after Vic left to give Vic an alibi.
What about the cellphone, if you know?

Yes, I've always wondered about the cellphone thing too. I'm just assuming that they tried to locate her, but she is either in the wind or dead. But if anyone knows for sure, please do share.

Watch the episode again, because quite a bit of time apparently transpires between Vic getting back to the Barn, in view of Claudette, and Ronnie being on the phone with Claudette (about following a Salvadoran lead), thus giving them both alibis. It was kind of confusing the first time I saw the episode, too.

If you go back and watch the episode , I believe that Ronnie actually uses the Hitman's own gun to kill him ! Be cause I thought the same thing , that if Ronnie used his own gun , ballistics more than likely would be traced back to his weapon , so I went back and watched again and I'm positive Ronnie killed this guy with his own gun.

I just went back and watched that particular episode and I was right ! When Vic and Ronnie break into the hitman's hotel room , Vic tosses Ronnie the hitman's gun . Then after Vic and Ronnie talk out on the hotel balcony and Vic leaves , Ronnie finishes off the hitman with the hitman's own gin , then Ronnie removes a ski mask from his back pocket of his jeans to wipe the gun clean of his prints and tosses it onto the floor and walks out !
