See, now, when I piss someone off and no one likes me anymore, I'm gonna get really depressed because I'm so used to all the smooches I'm getting! I've been to one of your MySpaces already, but the Chiky one didn't come up, so thanks for the links! I probably looked at the wrong one. And yes, we live really close to each other! You sound cool as hell, so I'm glad to have you in the region.

The chicky one takes a long time to come up....try again, or search Michael Chiklis on myspace and my page is the white background, with gray boxes for content. It's worth trying to see! And always speak your mind, even if it pisses someone off.

Cool, huh!
We will never *not* like you, girlfriend. And smooches abound here so get used to that! If anything, we'll be going through withdrawal if you get too busy with school... please make time for us, ok??

Well, now. First I have to say that it was very clever of you to title your introductory thread this way. There's certainly no chance of me mistaking it for any of the "Hi" or "New here" threads --not that I didn't recognize your name already, though, as it is already scattered across this board like Jackson Pollack put it in a bucket and started throwing it about.
Secondly, in order to truly be called a crazy cat lady you will need to have at least two more cats, IMO. Or at least feed all of the strays in your neighborhood . But I'm glad that you're working on cool-ifying the image --and that of Unmarried Aunts. I had a "cool aunt" growing up who was a big source of love and laughter in my childhood, as well as an image of fun and independence.
I can't contribute to the "Best Band Ever" debate because I very rarely have absolute favorites of anything --I love so many different kinds of music from so many different eras that it doesn't seem right to choose one as The Ultimate. But Led Zeppelin is a very respectable choice. And on a side note, Robert Plant is the one "celebrity" I've ever seen in person who was actually larger than he appeared to me on screen. That man is TALL, with very broad shoulders, and made me think of lions.
And lastly, I, like everybody else here, am glad you've joined The Shield Rap. I especially like how you've resurrected a lot of the older threads which have been neglected by us old jaded folk. So go ahead --shake the dust off these Boards, and rattle our heads a little in the off-season! It'll be good for everybody.

There's certainly no chance of me mistaking it for any of the "Hi" or "New here" threads --not that I didn't recognize your name already, though, as it is already scattered across this board like Jackson Pollack put it in a bucket and started throwing it about. Why thank you! Heh. I'm sure you've read my sheepish admission of addiction here. I was afraid someone was going to call me on the lack of surplus cats! ;D Does it count if strange cats come up to me on the street for a cuddle? Your aunt is the exact kind of aunt I hope I am, and want to continue to be. I've heard that about him, too! There's a website that lists the heights of different celebrities, with photo or anecdotal evidence, and it was noted there that he is at least 6 feet tall. And . . . and . . . and you, uh, actually stood close enough to him to observe his stature? Did the sweat break out on your hairline? How is it that you did not spontaniously combust? Even though he's now old enough to be my father, I would go anywhere and do anything that man asked me to, for little more than the chance to wrap one of his curls around my finger. I am extremely envious. And lastly, I, like everybody else here, am glad you've joined The Shield Rap. I especially like how you've resurrected a lot of the older threads which have been neglected by us old jaded folk. That earns you entrance into the honorable society of Cat Whisperers . If they start flocking around your house, you're a crazy cat lady. Or Michelle Pfeiffer in Batman Returns. Whichever.
Unfortunately, my cool aunt was taken from me by cancer when I was just 17. So I never got to hang out with her as a fellow woman. Still makes me angry.
Yes. He came into the music store where I worked some 12 years ago. I got close enough to admire his stature but never got to speak to him, as he was immediately monopolized --or rather, smothered-- by a weaselly douchebag of a co-worker who also fancied himself a songwriter and local rock star (mostly delusions). He followed Mr. Plant around yapping incessantly about "the craft" --as between fellow masters, you understand. Even if I could have gotten a word in edgewise, I couldn't bring myself to add to the assault on the poor man's ears.

Cat Whisperer. I might even like that better than crazy cat lady! Unfortunately, my cool aunt was taken from me by cancer when I was just 17. So I never got to hang out with her as a fellow woman. Still makes me angry. Wow. This is making me reconsider some of my bad habits. I really want to see my neices grow up. Yes. He came into the music store where I worked some 12 years ago.
