Greetings,
They call me the Madchinaman I have been a shield fan since last summer when I downloaded all the episodes from all five seasons and watched them like I was a junky and they were crack. I work in law enforcement and when my friends were all talking about how bad it was I was curiouse about why they were so upset about the show. I find the shield rather refreshing seeing both sides of the law in a fictional setting and watching the characters do things you only wish you could do. Anyway I just saw the season prepier of season 6 last night and I can't wait to see how things play out this season.

Thanks for the welcome. I know what you mean Last nights Episode was intense I have to admit I didnt see Kavanaugh Giving up so easily. I am glad that bastard is done though after seeing him plant that evidence in Vicks house. I was cool with the whole Battle they were having until he did that. It was kind of cool seeing them outsmart each other. Of course Kavanaugh would never have been as slick as Mackey

Thats funny, Yes I am part chinese but my father and mother split up when I was young so I dont know anything about chinese people. I grew up in the south so I have a heavy hick accent sort of like william cho. A friend of mine started calling me The Mad Chinaman because I am really laid back and dont get mad about anything. One day I was dealing with an unruly student and he made a racial remark to me and I was having a bad day allready so I lost it. I pulled a vick Mackey on him and threated to throw him in jail and of course there was a lot of profanity used. I got a Verbal Warning from my survisor over it. Ever since then my buddy called me The Mad chinaman and it just sort of caught on before I knew it my whole unit was calling me that... As far as you joking its all good The guys in my unit agrivate me about it all the time. I just get back at them. You cant have thin skin and work in law enforcement.

It's cool that you're cool, MCM! Not everyone can handle icy's particular style of welcoming our new members..... it does kind of weed out the wimps, ya know. lmfao!!! You can't have thin skin (or a weak stomach) and be a fan of this show either..

Hey, themadchinaman, welcome to the site. I work with a lot of Chinese students and just had lunch with a visiting scholar from China. I like Chinese people, in general, but I've never met a Chinese hick, ha ha ... j/k. Glad you decided to start posting. And we'll try to keep icy in line as much as we can. What do you do in law enforcement? We have some other peeps here at TSR who are also in law enfordement, like shootfirst. He works in the probation area of the field.

I am currently a school security officer. We are in the middle of a big transition right now. Hopefully if the politics work out we will be sherrif deputies. We do the same training as the local law enforcement but we work under a private protective security license

Well Yes and no. Ever since Columbine our training has pretty much been full of scenarios concerning such incidents. We all are on alert because of copy cat situations always follow these types of incidents. I know everyone is discussing it everywhere I turn. It just kills me that the signs were all there and no one heeded them. The protocols we have in place say to do more to find out about kids exhibiting that type of behavior..
