Hey all you wonderful defected Shield Board people!!! BadCop, ICY, I see ya'll here! Goody! They wouldn't let me have an "e" in my username (WTF?) and I must admit I am puzzled, but anyway the name I chose is perfect for my personality!! "SlightlyBitchy"!!!! Whaddya think? My daughter told me I was stretching it with the "slightly" part. That wasn't funny. Anyway, I'm happy to be back among friends instead of all those disgusting people who had invaded our former Shield Board. This one seems to be much better!!! Love ya!!

Hey there SlightlyB!! Happy Halloween! Good to have you join us....
Not sure what the 'e' thing is about... What name/s did you try to register with?
edit: You can change your display name at any time, regardless of your username. You will still have to log on with your original username, though.

Well let me add my greetings and salutations ......Welcome Home, Bailey. If we can "reel in" Realist, our gang of 4 will be complete. Good vibes continue to come your way concerning the issues with your back (NO ONE can keep a good woman like Bailey down.... upside down, settle down, tear down..... ). Getting excited (I'm always excited) with anticipation to the new season and eager with desire to be tantalized and titillated to the thrill of The Shield! May the Farmington Force be with us!

Hey Deb!! This is the first time I had come back to this thread for some reason but I'm glad I did since I saw your post!! How are you?? Yes, my back is still giving me a HUGE amount of grief. At last count the bottom 7 discs in my back have completely disintegrated. They no longer even show up on MRI. New news ~ they're planning to replace both of my knees in 2006. What fun. Should be a joyous occasion. Yeeesh. I'm having the carpal tunnel surgery done on my right hand Dec. 21. My thumb, index finger, and middle finger are totally numb. You could literally crush them and I swear I wouldn't feel it. I had the left one done in 2002, but didn't do the right so I could return to work. Being that I'm right handed, it's really become a pain in the ass. The wrist splint doesn't even help anymore. It wakes me up several times a night. I can only write my name and even that's sloppy. When you can't FEEL the pen or pencil how do you write, right? They're telling me I should get the majority of the feeling back so we'll see. I plan to do everything I can to strengthen my hand post-op. This will be surgery #10! Whoopeee!! God, I need to get a life. #yahoo# Anyway, let's do our best to get the whole gang here before the new season! I cannot wait! When does season 4 come out on DVD?? I've been looking and looking....if you know let me know, alright?
Love ya, Bailey

GIRLFRIEND!!! Where the hell have you been? I have missed the hell outta you! What on earth are you doing overseas? Damn, I'd be happy if I could just get to Cape Hatteras for a week. My favorite place on earth. That really sucks about not getting The Shield over there. I think I'd go through withdrawal. Things are okay with me, the back still gives me a fit but after 23 years of it it's a part of life. My 15 yr. old has inherited the family curse of degenerative joint and disc disease, though. She had back surgery last September and we just found out she's herniated 2 more discs. God I hate seeing her in pain! She started with it earlier than I did. At least she has someone (me) who knows how to deal with it. I wasn't so fortunate. I had to learn what I could and could not do the hard way. Trial and error! They're still trying to get me to put a morphine pump in my back but I am still refusing. I'll continue popping the pills, thanks. I don't like that either but I'm not going under the knife again if I can help it. At 39 it's getting more difficult to bounce back. Nice to see you here and make sure you stick around!!!!
