Is anyone else getting tired of Corrine and her weak character act. When Vic was having his melt down in the hospital she just stood there acting like a helpless weak human being. Hello he just lost his best friend and co-worker.She keeps coming around like she is so concerned then just stands there and watches his melt down like what can I do about it. What is up with that. I would have been out there and trying to calm Vic down he was yelling for her help. He has always had her in his thoughts and made sure she and the kids were alright, yet she just stands in the wings and doesn't look out for him. If she cared as much as she claims to care for Vic she would do more for him but just stand there like a dumb broad and go "what what" Man I was so over come with anger at her last night it was the last straw for me ever having a shred of respect for her.

I still have some sympathy for Corrine considering her circumstances. If I were her, I would equally torn between love for Vic and fear about what he does in secret and the deaths associated with him. I think she's in a lot of undeniable denial, know what I mean?
I have admired the times when she stood up for herself and expressed a sense of self-preservation. I don't have kids, but I can still empathize with her need to shelter and protect her children. She's one confused broad, to be sure! I "like" her more now than I did in Seasons 1 and 2.
As for not coming to Vic's aid during the breakdown, she was covered in blood from another emergency patient. She really couldn't at that moment.

Even if she hadn't been covered in blood at that moment...
On a professional level she couldn't really do much. I mean how could she later justify running out of an OR to comfort her husband who's throwing the waiting room around like that (It's Clobberin' Time Anyone?)?
I must admit that as the show has gone on, the writing for that character and Cathy's performances have consistently gotten much better. I honestly felt like in the earlier seasons her character wasn't entirely believeable or worthwhile.

...She keeps coming around like she is so concerned then just stands there and watches his melt down like what can I do about it... what could she have done about it? Vic is double her size, and at that moment an obvious emotional wreck, Shane, Ronnie and Haitt didn't try to do anything either...

for one thing she was in an emergancy room If it would have been a surgery room there wouldn't have been other people laying on gurneys with other Dr and nurses working on them. They would have been in scrubs and sterile working field then yes she wouldn't have been able to leave. For another thing if you watch the whole scene she leaves the guy she is tending to, to come up to the glass to try and hear Vic. So she does leave the guy. At the very end of the scene she comes out of a door as Vic is leaving the waiting room she then entirely leaves the room she was in and the guy she is tending to. As far as the guys go he wasn't addressing them he was yelling for Corrine. Why didn't she follow him out if she could leave the room and not have to help with the guy she was helping with. So that was what I was getting to.
