Right before Vic and Rebecca leave the crime scene (where Terry was killed by 2Time ) Rebecca restrains Vic from a physical confrontation with someone, was it Kavanaugh or Terry's brother? I have not been able to tell if it was Vic who initiated it either?

It was Terry's brother. Kavanaugh had him there to try and get under Vic's skin and cause him to loose his cool. Very intense scene...the only time I think I've seen Vic's feathers ruffled this far into the season.

Vic should have whipped Terry's brother's ass, then for dessert, whip Kavanuts ass.

As much as that got Vic flustered, every week we're seeing Kav go farther and farther into the abyss of underhanded tactics. It's almost a role reversal of sorts, for the most part, Vic is doing it by the book lately (I know he's pulled some shit, but for the MOST part he's stayed clean) while Kavanaugh is more and more willing to cheat his way into getting dirt on the ST. Great stuff.

Great stuff. But, too, Vic's been a lying shit this season--looking into the eyes of everyone, including his most loyal subject--Lem--Corrine, Becca, etc and said with perfect sincerity that Terry was killed by what'shisname. Remember Ryan saying he wanted the audience to stop liking Vic so much? Take us back to the first season when we were repulsed by Vic yet secretly admired his results... we grew to like him because he kicked ass on the streets, loved his kids, loved his boys, and brought the bullies to justice. Last year I noticed I even felt sorry for him--that he was so cornered by circumstances and worried about his Team. His scene with Shane brought it all to a sappy head for me. He'd simply grown too vulnerable.
I don't know about you, but the writers have worked me just right this season. I am really disliking Vic and find myself thinking he needs to answer for his original sin. I smile at his ability to outsmart and torment Kaved-in-nuts, but when he calls someone like Terry "a snake"... that's when I think "Vic, you're not going to walk off into the sunset at the end of this." Bad guys ALWAYS pay. The gods see to it.

That was very weak on Kav's part, but in the previews for next week -spoiler removed by E-
I promise there is adequate discussion of the previews in the Snitches board.

To me, it looked like Becca was just pushing Vic back out of her own pure anger and not because of any move Vic or anyone else was making. i watched the scene over too because it looked strange, but it definitely didn't look like she was trying to break anything up. She was just pissed.
