This just occured to me. They promote Season 5 as CONSCIENCE IS A KILLER.
Well who has a conscience? Lem does. Could that mean Lem will get killed? From the promo's looks like Lem may be in danger when sent to prison next week. Just wonder if that is the entire reason for the tagline?
Your thoughts?
I thought of putting this in the spoiler thread, but all this was already on the show.

Before S5 started, I imagined that Vic's conscience would end up getting him killed. Vic was the main focus of all the ads, so I assumed they meant Vic's conscience. I had a scenario in my mind that his biggest weakness (his sympathy for street chicks with kids) would somehow factor into it as well. Maybe he tries too hard to help Emolia, possibly driven by his conscience, and it puts him in mortal peril. Or he starts to feel guilty about Terry and the other shit he's done and that makes him careless on the job and he gets killed. But now that we're more than halfway through this half of the season, ( ) I've ditched my previous speculations, and I just don't know what "Conscience is a Killer" could mean now. It's possible that it was just a clever, tricky tagline that has nothing to do with the plot of S5.

Unless, Vic somehow develops a conscience in the next few eps. Especially with the tiny spoiler Glen M. Left with Chem. Maybe that whole experience will leave Vic with thoughts of remorse for Terry's death.

What about the original tagline of S5 "The beginning on the end". They kind of ditched that after a few weeks of promos. Could they have changed their minds about ending it at a certain time, or will that be the theme of the second half of the season?
