The walls close in on Vic when Kavanaugh invades the Barn and sets up office. An elusive serial killer comes back into Dutch and Claudette's life, and Tina's discovery of Julien's homosexual past adds a whole new level of tension to their relationship.

Tina sucks. I could really care less about that. As for the elusive serial killer....

The serial killer... Hmmmmm.... Could it be that guy from S4 who they were never able to pin those murders on? The one who lived with his sister and they arrested a couple of times and both times had to let go?

I figured after watched 5x4 it was only a matter of time before Tina found out about Julien - the Kleavon arc gets pretty major as the season goes on apparently

I, for one, am mildly interested in how Tina reacts to Julien being gay, as well as how she finds out.
And yes, the elusive serial killer is Kleavon Gardner. I knew they were going to bring him back, and what other killer has "eluded" Claudette and/or Dutch besides that priest?

I thought this Ep was a bit more of a snooze than the past few...But as we all know by now, the writers are setting us up for something big. This has been the tradition of the show...A few amazing eps followed by a slower ep to build some action/suspense.
And NO, I'm not saying this was a bad ep, just not as exciting in my opinion as the last couple. Please don't jump on me for nay-saying.

I am surprised that peeps thought this ep was less than stunning. It blew me away! The pace of the Corrine's interrogation seemed off somewhat and I wasn't buying that she'd talk to Kav without a lawyer. But the acting between Ryan and Whitaker was breathtaking, imho. I was spellbound and thought this ep was the best other than the season premiere.
I think the writers are going to knock our socks off yet. Who knows... maybe Kav has an "accident"? Or maybe Vic gets arrested and we take the whole thing into a courtroom? I can hardly wait, though it sucks big time that we might have to wait until JAN 2007 for the second part of this season! Talk about cruel and unusual.

I actually enjoyed this episode more than 505, which is going to disagree with about 91.4% of the board on TSR. Even though the side stories were not as strong (barring Texan Boy/Dutch Man/Claudette), I thought the Kavanaugh/Corrine story was superb. It would have been PERFECT if it was uninterrupted and played in one cut, one camera, no stop. I loved the "nose" shot of Kavanaugh, how 1/2 of the screen was always focused in on a wall or pillar. A+ in my book. --Dan

Something I thought was going to amount to something more in the ep was the focus on Kavanaugh's Ring. Anyone else notice that?

Something I thought was going to amount to something more in the ep was the focus on Kavanaugh's Ring. Anyone else notice that? I think what they wanted us to notice are Kav's gestures. He knows how to use his hands to get across a threat or encourage his target to roll along with his suggestions.
Was going to add, Lem needs to ditch "the pink stuff" He's gotta go with Prilosec and forget about short term relief. It goes nowhere. I live on Prilosec...comes with corruption [This message brought to you by Proctor & Gamble]
