Kav really got under her skin with the Danni Sofer info and the implication that the new baby is Vic's!

Yeah, Kav threatened who would take care of the kids. But come on, If Vic goes down who is going to pay for 2 autistic special schooling? She really did not evaluate the options very well.

She is a weak person. But, after everything she has been through you would think she would have the sense to not spill beans like this. DUMB BITCH! I am not surprised she buckled under pressure, though. KAV knew how to push her weak buttons one after the other. He knew she was weak when she took the gum...

I am not surprised she buckled under pressure, though. KAV knew how to push her weak buttons one after the other. He knew she was weak when she took the gum... Now wait a minute, Icy... who put Corrine in that position by being a bad cop? I really don't fault her for choosing herself and her kids over Vic. A hard choice but I understand it. As a mother, wouldn't you do the same if you believed what Kav was telling you? I think there was a lot of pain involved in her confession. She had to look at what she had been denying for years...and knowing the man she loves has been lying to her. The affair with Danny cut her deeply too. She was crushed by these things and saved her ass at Vic's expense. We are mad that she did it, but can't we see why?

Yes, C.C. I would see why. I would see another snake (KAV) trying to screw me and my family over. I would have wised up by then. She however does not see this and her weaknesses are being exploited. So, yes, she is being victimized. I get what you are trying to say. I guess I am looking at it from a point of view from someone who has wised up to shit like this. I am too smart for shit like this. I like it when someone tries to play me and I can bat my lashes like a dimwit and then move in for the kill and leave them in the dust with their mouth hanging open wondering where a purty thing like me got so damn smart.

She's just a weak person. There's nothing else to it. She is weak in every aspect. People like her only look after herself and her "own". She is the kind of person that doesn't care about how her actions affects others. She is the exact opposite of Vic. Vic would sacrafice himself for his friends, family, and even complete strangers. The only edge Corrine has she got from living with Vic.
Even though Vic was a little bit corrupt, he only did it for his family and friends. He used all the money on his family and not a dime on himself. He is the kind of person you would trust ur life to. Corrine however, is the perfect example of someone who is weak and shouldn't be trusted with anything. I can care less that she has kids. She doesn't even deserve those kids. I doubt that she would be able to protect them. She is dumb and incapable...I mean she tried to start a relationship with her son's teacher like only after a couple of weeks of breaking up with Vic. HOLY shit that just shows how weak and desperate she is in that she has to always have others to depend upon, even if it hurts her kids. Obviously she's only attracted to people that can help but control her. TRUELY SHE NEEDS TO DIE. SHE NEEDS TO DIE BECAUSE OF HER BETRAYAL...

Yeah its weird how we learn to love Vic so much even though we KNOW he is a murderer. It is funny how we oppose IAD, the institution that will actually bring justice and clean up corruption. Whitaker just does such a good job at making you hate him you cant help it.
As for Corrine, its bullshit how people are saying she is weak and everything. Vic wasn't a good guy to her. As much as I love Vic, it isnt hard to see that the only time he is nice to Corrine is when he wants access to the children. He loves his children, and that is obvious, but it isnt obvious that he would cover for Corrine if it was needed. I cant blame her, and neither should you. BUT NOW VIC IS SCREWED: CROWLEY MURDER, MONEY TRAIN, AND AFFAIR, DAMN. We know he will be able to get out of it though--at least I do. After all, my sn says it all.

I pretty much see Corrine in a completely different light here. I just see her as a morally and dependently weaker person than her counterpart, Vic. She is very dependent on him for just about everything; financial support, child support (simliar), her rock and confidant, etc. Vic is the complete opposite, I believe. He is independent, a leader, and confident in his decisions and role at work and home. That, IMO, is why he has and does take advantage of Corrine; he can. He really is free to do as he chooses, he knows Corrine will always need his services and support. Corrine has never really "cut him off" to his family - she will always need money or emotional support and he knows he dominates and controls her in this aspect.
I don't really see Corrine as being weak at all in the scene with Kavanaugh. First, she is and will always be loyal to Vic, at least in a handful of aspects. Second, she was truly backed into a corner with the Danny incident (which I believe to be total B.S. - totally twisted and unnecessary to the moment at hand, he would have broken her without this fact) and she played the only card she even knew she had. I don't even think she was choosing between "kids" and "Vic". Just like the gum, she had to take the bait.
Stick of gum = Danny. Take the gum = tell about the $65,000.
I don't blame her. Weak, dependent. Some people never change.

Vic would so totally cover for corrine. She left him, he didnt leave her. Even though Vic cheated on corrine, it's understandable if u've ever been with a person long enough. I know it's not excusable, but Vic is a good guy. We love Vic even though he's a murderer because we know he does it to protect his friends and family. He doesn't do it for himself. We hate IAD because Kavanaugh's heart is evil and he uses underhanded tactics. I think we will see Kavanaugh's tainted past come up soon in the future episodes....FCUK i can't stand that a**hole...

If there's one thing Vic will never do, it's underhanded tactics.

I think the biggest traitor in this season is going to be Shane. He's gonna flip on ST or at least on Vic. I just feel this way. Hey Icy, why don't you tell us how you really feel? lol

It looks too much like Lem is going to turn them in but I don't think so. Lem has a lot of love for the ST, Ronnie doesn't have anything on him, so what is there to use as leverage? I think it's Shane, besides I cannot stand him anyway lol.

I can't believe Vic is going to let her bargain-up with Kavanaugh. He must know something that we haven't found out yet. Vic's got a trick or two up his sleeve...otherwise he wouldn't make that kind of a move.

His biggest weakness has always been tramps with kids....
Maybe Vic knows that Corrine doesn't know anything else that can bite him in the ass. Telling her to lawyer up and cooperate with IAD makes Vic look like a prince in Corrine's eyes again. Inviting her to the diner was a bit romantic, and he was on his best behaviour. I wonder how long it will be until the Mackey fence is mended in the biblical sense.....

Corrine is just another C U Next Tuesday. Basically stole his kids without any real reason. Turned over $5K to IAD, HUGGGGHHHH I hate her.
