We haven't forgotten about the Best Line poll for Postpartum--there isn't quite the urgency as before because we don't have a new ep coming up on it's heels ( ), but it will be coming later today, hopefully. Until then, think about what moment or scene made you hate Kavanaugh the most, made you want to reach through your TV screen and grab him by the throat? I'll collect them for a poll.

I think when he forced everyone on the Barn to arrest Lem, even though he saved his live... and when he told Aceveda to tell Vic that Lem gave em up and goes to witness protection... god I hate him!!

Guess I'm in the minority here, but I never really detested Kavanaugh all that much. He never was like Aceveda, who only wanted to take Vic down to build a reputation. From the start, his motives seemed perfectly genuine; he believed Vic to be a menace, so he wanted him off the streets. The only moment where he crossed the line is when he made the deal with Antwon, so if that's in the poll, I'll probably vote for it.
Also, I had no problem with the way he arrested Lem. That was simply Lem and Vic paying the price for getting caught with their hands in the cookie jar.

You make some good points, but this isn't a thread to debate Kav's likability... there's one for that in the Season 5 board called 'Vic vs. Kavanaugh' I think.
I really hated him putting Lem in the cage, but "most hated?" When he said, "Are you happy now Detective Mackey?" I hope those are the last words we EVER hear from that prick.
I've always loved Forrest Whitaker, btw. Still do.

For me it has to be his dealings with Antwon. From meeting in prision to his conversation with Vic about it. Like Mackey said, it would have made Kav. a killer as well as he knew what would have likely happened. Right behind that is the "Are you happy now?" crack.

One of them had to be when Vic was taking to him and then got closer and whispered about how his wife's pussy tasted like sweet butter. OUCH!

I hated him for that! If you think about it, Lem wouldn't have had to go on the run.

I going to half to agree with the "Are you happy now?" line. Way out of line to say that to someone who is looking at a good friend dead.

The only reason he arrested Lem was to get back at Vic. And poor Lem looking at Vic for some kind of support just broke my heart. Damn I'm going to miss Lem

I have 4 most hated moments in no particular order....
1. when he offered Corrine the gum 2. when he gave Lem the fishing lures for his birthday 3. the 'are you happy line' 4. arresting Lem in the barn
I also wanted to add a Kavanaugh moment that actually made me feel for the guy, for just a second, when he went to see Lem and told him that if he were ever in a fight he would want Lem in his corner..... then I went back to hating him again.

The 'happy' line and arresting Lem are things to hate Kavanaugh for. I'm personally a big fan of the character and actually think he's been pushed so over the edge by Vic that his reaction HAS to be expected. But the 'happy' line was extremely bad.

didn't hate him so much as i thought. we all know the crimes that the team has done. there good outweighs the bad and all. kav was doin his as iad. thats how they are. cop hunters. look at the facts people. strike team was very very dirty, but good hearted about it and real good in justifying it
