Sadie (Gina Torres) was also in Hercules and Xena as various characters (Cleopatra, Nebula the Sumerian princess, Nebula the Empress), and Alias as Anna Espinosa.
I found out Kern Little (Sticky Fingaz) is playing Blade in Spike TV's "Blade: The Series"

"Tina" played a cop in a rerun of SVU last night. Damn, she's sexy in her blues.

Another Shield-Deadwood connection:
Pavel Lychnikoff, the guy who played the Russian Popovich in Seasons 4 & 5 of The Shield is also on Deadwood. He's Blazanov, the camp's Telegraph Operator in Season 2.
I haven't seen him in the first two episodes of Season 3, but nothing tragic happened to him at the end of last season, so he should be back once in a while.

Nicki Micheaux (Trish from the Decoy Squad) is playing a trampy "other woman" in the movie "Ringmaster." It's on Comedy Central right now. Looked through this thread to see if this had been mentioned and saw this as well. I was surfing through the channels last night and ran across Ringmaster and noticed Trish right away. Billings was in Harlem Nights and played a gangster gopher to Bugsy Calhoun who got his hand smashed in the piano.

First it was CSI this Monday now Catherine Dent is on a rerun of Law & Order SVU right now. She's playing an ex model with a disfigured eye. Darn, wish I woulda caught that SVU! On the Oct. 19 ep of Law and Order Reed Diamond ("Terry" the cop Vic killed in pilot) played a defense attorney. It is being rerun on USA tonight at midnight eastern time. The episode is titled "... Or Just Look Like One."

Vondie Curtis Hall, the director of the Season 4 episode "Insurgents," co-wrote and directed Waist Deep, which came out yesterday. Tyrese Gibson stars.
E, that's a nice catch, seeing Smitty. Took me like 2 episodes to figure out who that was, and I was so proud of myself when I pegged him. Then someone pointed out that one of the other terrorists was also on The Shield. It was the shoestore owner who the teenage girl accused of rape, but it really wasnt. He looks like a poor man's Willem Dafoe.

don't know if this has already been mentioned but Walton Groggins has a nice support part in the new-to-DVD The World's Fastest Indian - he plays a good ol' boy who helps Anthony Hopkins get permission to participate in the Bonneville Speedweek when Hopkins just shows up with his 'motorsickle' without having 'preregistered'
the movie is really good - very uplifting and just a great story (apparently true) - highly reccomended

Matt Corboy (Ray Carlson) is hosting the Professional Poker Tour that premieres tonight (Wednesday) at 9pm EST - I got the chance to meet him on the set during our visit and he was way cool - just a real nice dude and forthcoming with all kinds of good business info - he's pretty excited about this show so it might be worth checking out

I saw Katerine Dent on a L&O a few days ago with one side of her face messed up, and then Tina(don't know her real name) in L&O SVU and not just in a 1 scene talking about a crime scene but working with Stabler on a case.
Then when I was watching Independece Day last night the actor who played Two-Time was a cab driver in it for a bout 2 seconds when the alien ship apperas in NY.

I recently saw Chik in "The Three Stooges". Boy was he great! I also remember the Seinfeld episode and he was good in that too. Of course, anything he does, he is good in!! Can you see that I'm a Chik fan? I remember Walton from House of 1000 Corpses too. He was great as a hick. Let's see, Shane = hick too... seems Walton makes a good hick:) Since The Shield I saw Kenny in an episode of CSI. He looked really good, considering he just got wacked in The Shield!

Just saw the preview for "World Trade Center" and although brief, I think Army plays a firefighter and is at the beginning of the preview. I could very well be wrong but it sure looked like him.

Finally got around to starting my Chronological 5-Season Shield Marathon this week.
1.02, "Our Gang." April Grace, who played the IAD investigator who did the initial probe into Terry's shooting showed up recently in the last couple Season 2 episodes of LOST. She plays "Ms. Klugh" on LOST, and judging from the way things went down, she'll be back for Season 3.

When I was watching Lost I thought I rembered seeing her somewhere else, but couldn't think of where. I was watching American Pie 2 yester day and The actor who plays Phillips was a cop in it too.
