Who can forget Michael Chiklis in 'The Commish'? He played Anthony Someone. The last name of the character escapes me at the moment.

Anthony J. Scali is the name of Michael Chiklis' character on The Commish.

Isn't that John Diehl (Gilroy) driving the Jeep on the commercial with the "ice man" in the back seat?

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet, but Reed Diamond, the actor who played Det. Terry Crowley, was in Good Night, and Good Luck. He played a reporter, I think, by the name of John Aaron.
I also recently saw that episode of Cold Case that had Jay Karnes in it, and it was weird! I'm too used to seeing him as Dutch, so it was odd seeing him as some random guest star-gay person. Particularly alongside a nice, clean shaven Armadillo! He looked pretty good for someone who has had AIDS for that long, though, I have to admit. Especially when compared to the other guy. CHIKchick is right though; it's a weird way to end a wedding without a kiss.

Fwah, no one else replied to this thread which means that I get to double post!
Anywho, both Paula Garcés (Officer Tina Hanlon) and Anthony Anderson (Antwon Mitchell) were in Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle, which strikes me as being funny. Paula Garcés played the Maria chick that Harold was crushing on and Anthony Anderson played the unnamed employee who started tearing up the Burger Shack that he worked at.
Really though, just thinking about this cracks me up because that movie is so one with the silly funness. -snerk-

Follow that link and scroll down a bit to the black guy in the leather jacket... THAT'S TEVON! So he went from kicking-ass in the strike team to being a model. Odd.

Don't forget that the guy who played Rondell in season 1 was THE BLACK POWER RANGER!
And the guy who played Garza (Guillermo Diaz) was Scarface in Half Baked and did some more work on the Chapelle Show.

addendum: Ahhh...gotta love IMDB. According to the IMDB gurus, he was the voice of "Cartoony Crewman/Mechanic" in the ep to which I referred. AND..our man of many talents has also voiced characters in 3 other Family Guy eps![/quote]
That's right. He was also "Hennesy" on the one where peter becomes a fisherman, and the memorable "Big Fat Paulie" on the mob episode. Classic Chiklis.

The guy who played Sean Taylor, the serial killer, also had a great role in Land of the Dead. Oh, and I can't remember what show exactly, i think it was Law & Order, but Michele Hicks (Mara Vendrell) was on there as some chick.
You can also find CCH Pounder (Claudette) in Redemption: The Stan Tookie Williams story as Winnie Mandella and in True Crime: Streets of LA (the video game) as the chief.
Michael Jace played Michael Jordan (fitting) in Jordan: An American Hero, an ape in Planet of the Apes (also fitting), and Odion in Cradle 2 the Grave.
Walt Goggins played a cop in the classic but little heard of Switchback, and a techy in Bourne Identity.
Chicklis played a good role in Body and Soul as Tiny, and was Curly in the 3 stooges.
There, there's my reportoie... and i'm officially exhausted.

John Cygan played Chief Johnson in ep 5:10... He has a past connection with Chiklis in that John played Detective Paulie Pentangeli for several seasons of "The Commish." He has done lots of voice work in the biz... www.imdb.com/name/nm0194201/

Derk Cheetwood played Jarrod Stahl (the Gloryhole Bandit, aka 'Trapper John' haha) in episode 5:10. General Hospital fans will recognize him as Sony's bodyguard, Max Giambetti..... Check out his other credits at IMDb.com.

OMG, yes! I thought that was him! I saw Cheetwood a lot last week--he had an interesting dance scene with Carly, Sony's ex. He's really a very good actor. On the soap he's a bumbling bodyguard (at times), tight and white, does some really funny stuff and always looks totally gangster sharp. It was too weird to see him as the strung out dick trapper on The Shield...in fact, I thought I was having a psychotic episode...again.
