Once you set the tags in your profile, this feature automatically inserts those tags in your posts.
Click on your profile, then "Modify Profile."
You will see an area for "Posting Font Prefs" then beside that fields for "beginning" and "ending."
UBBCode is all about beginning/opening tags and ending/closing tags, and they have to be in the correct order. Say you want your posts to always be in bold yellow italics. In the "beginning" field, you would type "" and in the "ending" field, you would close the italics first, then the color, then bold by typing . Don't use spaces in the codes. I did that so you could see them. Here's Cali's thread on his website: SoCal Codes & GraphicsNote: If you choose something insane or annoying to the staff like a moving, glowing size 20 blinking sparkly font, you will be asked to change it and expect a smack upside the head...
If you have any questions about this or any other feature on TheSheildRap, don't hesitate to ask a staff member or post a question in this board.

E, I am good with the standard font, but would like my permanant color to be the same as my screen name color. How exactly would I do this? Sorry, I am a computer idiot. I am lucky to be able to type this post!

^ You would put [ color=0066CC] in the beginning field, and [ /color] in the ending field. Without the spaces....

if you want to change color, type [ /color] before you type the new one.
if you're trying to remove the formatting, type in something like [ br] in both spaces.
i'm not sure why it doesn't affect the edit...
