Thanks ;D I appreciate the feedback! I actually LOVE the "Lem playing air guitar with his shotgun" clip (S1 E05) but didn't include it.. hmm.. why? lol I don't know, probably cause it was more group than just Lem (plus it had some of the cast/crew names - but that didn't stop from including a clip with Ronnie with that). Oh well. For you: (let it load)

This is great...now it just keeps going! Lemondhead Lemansky, Strike Team Lead Air Guitar/Shotgun. Doesn't get any cooler than that.
Damn, I am gonna miss him!!

Heh, that has a nice ring to it ;D Normally playing with guns would be a big no-no, but somehow Lem makes it cool. And I too LOVED the scene when I first saw it (I also liked the music, but actually only the chorus is good). I'm so curious how they are going to pull the next season off without Lem. I know his death will still play a major role (specially, on Shane), but the show truly lost something when they killed him... but the writers will find someway to make the show fabulous, even without Lem. At least I have blind faith in them. I came across it, a few minutes before Shane offed Lem, so I quickly turned it off. lol I reacted to it like it was a killer insect - ahh! off, off! I wanted to see some of the beginning of Black.White though so I turned it back on at the end and saw Vic saying, "We're gonna find out who did this... and we're gonna kill him." Sigh.

Sooooo....
after reading the posts, I realize I'm not the only one... should I consider this a form of 'group therapy'? ....
"Hi, I'm Kristi. And I have a Lem/Kenny fetish and built up frustration and anger at Shane Vendrell. I think it might turn homicidal if Mackey doesn't take him out." ;D

This group is definitely a form of group therapy - especially now that we are all suffering from the same disease: the Shield withdrawal (including 'post traumatic stress' due to Lem's death).

OKAY once again, I have something to share! Wow, I need to get over Lem, hah. However, this isn't like the other songvids, rather it's a Flash file - embedded with videosThus, if you can not view Flash, you will need to download something to watch it (and this is definitely viewed better downloading than streaming; otherwise the videos won't work as well). The size is 30 MB. I *think* this program will help if you cannot view Flash: www.sendspace.com/file/20gtdtLem Through The Seasons.swfwww.sendspace.com/file/2t4l29www.sendspace.com/file/vmro8h*both links are the same file, just uploaded twice*Let me know what you think and *please* if there are any problems (specially with links or videos), let me know so I can fix them! Feedback much appreciated ;D *note: I'm posting this in both my original tribute thread as well as the favorite memory of Lem thread because that's where I requested people to help me with video ideas.edit: sorry for all the problems with it, I assumed some wouldn't have a Flash player on their computer but I hoped the player I linked would help. Try one of these: www.download.com/Flash-Movie-Player/3000-2139_4-10511935.html?tag=lst-0-4tucows.com/preview/355326I hope this helps

Thanks! ;D It was fun to make. I hope the links/programs work, I have Macromedia installed on my computer, so I don't know what files are needed to install for those just to view them.
The "police, freeze suckers" was DEFINITELY one of my first/favorite memories of Lem. I said it all the time around the house. It's just TOO adorable, lol.

Those scenes with him and Shane; esp. "Pony Up" jerked me right back into mourning, though. f*cking Shane, man.... damn him. I haven't been able to watch the last scene you put in, cuz I know what it is.....

It's been a little easier watching the Shane/Lem scenes because I've been going through all of the past seasons, and have actually been able to put the last episode out of my mind. I actually was able to watch some of the earlier scenes without thinking of Shane killing him... well, for a short while anyway. I liked the car scene with Vic, I thought it was cute how Lem grabbed Shane's neck and said, "I got you." and chuckled. They had a nice relationship, until the end... I didn't want to include that last scene for the obvious reasons, but obviously it's very important to Lem's character, seeing as it was his death scene at all. But I getcha on not wanting to watch it. I muted it when I was checking each of the videos... it's easier to watch small clips of the scene but I haven't been able to watch the whole thing straight through (it's like, what 7-8 minutes long?).

I keep watching/listening to my video (The Shield - Lem and Shane Goodbye) over and over and over... In the past couple of days I've seen it several dozen times! Stop me. Please! I don't know why I can't stop. It's not that it's amazing or anything (haha) but it's so sad. It was nice making all those videos, it kept Lem alive but now I'm forcing myself to realize that that character is dead in the show... plus, I do like the feel of the video, it's very guilty feeling - from Shane's perspective. When the show returns (sooooo long from now), it's still going to be heartbreaking. That was one crazy ass white boy, you really used to be tight? Yeah.... a lifetime ago... a lifetime ago...
The man died alone. I'm not going that route. I'm not going that route. Died alone.
Lem, I'm sorry... sorry. But I had to, right? But I had to, right? Right? Right?
You in Mexico is the only thing that will keep us all safe. Man, especially you... especially you. They're going to make you give us up. Give us up.
You're trying to get me to turn on my family. Turn... turn... turn on my family. My family.
Trust me, man. Trust me. Trust me. Trust me.
Shane... Shane?

LOL You are probably right I never cared for Shane per-se, but I think he has an important role in the group. He was an easy target for people (viewers and characters) to take out frustration on (especially since he got them into more trouble than any of the others). They all balanced each other: Lem and Ronnie the tame ones and Vic and Shane the hot-heads. But yes, I'm very glad Ronnie neither died nor murdered Lem. Yah for that little favor. Then again, they never give him screen time so of course they wouldn't have given him that huge plot twist (of betrayal). On other news, I keep being reminded of The Shield.... the other day I heard "Hungry Like a Wolf" on the radio and made me think of Dutch... and then yesterday I saw a commercial that advised against taking whatever crap they were selling if you have stomach ulcers. Sniffle.

I Adore Ronnie: Don't feel bad. I have my tape paused on that spot you are mentioning. I occasionally watch it. The pivotal moments between Lem and Shane. From the time the truck enters the garage until Shane leaves... It is heartbreaking. But, it is a way of getting used to the idea that it really happened. You have to remember that KAV used Dutch's info. to bait two-faced Aceveda into messing with Vic's head who passed that on to the strike team. Shane was loyal most of all to Vic. He never wanted to kill Lem. He thought Lem was going to turn rat. Nobody wins this one.

I'm still tormenting myself over it. I've been watching the re-runs on Spike and I can't stop thinking of how it ends (ah, well between Shane and Lem) - especially after last nights episode with the cock fighting. Dutch is interesting but I've never cared one way or another for him... but since he definitely got the ball rollin', he is on my hit list! I loved how he got into the minds of criminals but I don't understand why he's so out for blood when it comes to the Strike Team - Vic alone, sure I can see that but the whole Strike Team? And the fact that he knows criminals so well and couldn't possibly see the guys turning on each other (by the means of murder) - so brillant and so clueless at the same time. Kav always bothered me, partly because who he was after (the whole Strike Team; if it was just Vic I wouldn't have minded so much but I am more protective of Lem and Ronnie than the other two - so half my Strike Team love is gone). However, more of how he did it / his tactics. I hate hate hate it when people are manipulative like that. Vic does it in a more cunning way (and to people I don't care about), so it doesn't bother me. But Kav with Corrine over an autistic child? He has the same "the end justify the means" attitude as Vic, and ultimately that ended with Lem's death... and the fact that Lem SAVED Kav from a grenade is just that much worse. Aceveda always bothered me too. He obviously wanted the power but rarely had the balls to use it correctly. More often than not he went to Vic for help. His role in the manipulation definitely annoyed me. And I thought Vic saw through him at first but then when the Strike Team (minus Lem) was talking about Lem in the gym, I realized that Vic was passing on Aceveda's information as though it was true. I kept screaming at my television: VIC!! C'mon, you NEVER trust Aceveda!!! NOOO! C'MON! But ultimately, Shane killed Lem. And obviously the writers wanted this reaction but the whole betrayed by a friend/family member can sting anyone. I really need to see where they go with this. If the end is coming, lemme deal with it now rather than dread what may come... And to end this: I really hope soon into the new episodes does it come out that Lem was not going to turn on the guys and that he was VERY clear about never doing that. Not only to make it sting more (to Shane) but to make sure that Lem's loyal reputation isn't compromised (as a traitor).
