John Cena!?!?
Well, many folks got up in arms last year about Glenn Close, and we might get some flak about Forrest Whitaker. So, maybe the thought is to turn away from the Hollywood elite and embrace the common man by connecting with WWE.
This has potential...Shield Divas! Vic gets a midget partner!! Vic and Aceveda have it out in a steel cage!!!
Now, everybody do Cena's signature gesture - hand in front of your face - palm open toward you - now move it side to side rapidly - and yell...
"YOU CAN'T SEE ME!"

Anyone know about the songs from the newer Season five ads? I know the "Hurt" and "Bad Bad Man" titles, but the does anyone have any leads on the other (two?) songs?

One of the promos running is a song "MKLVFKWR" by Moby and Public Enemy, made for the "xXx: State of the Union" soundtrack.
This is the "Put your hands in the air" song that plays in one of the promos. Still trying to track down the "World that's so unkind" song...

Hello, not sure how to use this. I've been spending days looking for the shield theme on the net, legal or illegal download. Apparently nobody has it in the mp3 format. Do you? I really don't want to buy the whole soundtrack. Can you help me?

Welcome to TheShieldRap, gaialuna! I love your name!! Earth and moon.... very nice!
No, I don't know where to find that song on the net, sorry..... Even if I did, I wouldn't want to discuss it here at TSR. I mean, we all know people do it and some fans of The Shield wouldn't be able to see the current episodes or hear the cool songs without that kind of thing (illegal downloads).
But at TSR, we are very respectful of the artists that create the show and the songs, so we don't allow people to post links to illegal downloads. To support the rightful owners of the music, I suggest going out and buying the soundtrack. There are lots of great rockin songs on it; I think you'll be pleased.
Again, welcome and I hope you'll jump in and post your thoughts on the show!

I had previously did a google search for "just another day" by Vivian Romero. I had found a site that let me download it to my computer for free. I did it sooo long ago I don't remember the site, but I will look for it and let you know when I find it.

I just found something out! It's not "Jose Amigo" who sang Cuentan Que El. It's a band named Whitehouse. -+== Link Removed by E ==+-I'm downloading the song right now. Not from that torrent though. I found it on a P2P program 10 minutes ago and checked on Google to be sure. I agreed with others on the late TSF when they said "Jose Amigo" sounded plain enough in english to be "John Doe." I didn't think they were right though. edit: do not post links to illegal downloads. read the rules & guidelines please.Okay. Here's a picture of the section of the page that has Whitehouse listed: img.photobucket.com/albums/v160/axeman61/CuentanQueEl.jpgAnd to be perfectly clear, the artist I found the song for may be Whitehouse, or it may be Jose Amigo with Whitehouse as the publisher or something. All I know is that Whitehouse ended up being the name on my P2P and the cropped image of the torrent page I linked to. If you do change the listings, keep Jose, but put Whitehouse there with a slash. That'd be the best option.

OMG! Perfect song for the montage at the end of 5:10!!!
Smashing Pumpkins -- "Disarm"
Disarm you with a smile And cut you like you want me to Cut that little child Inside of me and such a part of you Ooh, the years burn Ooh, the years burn
I used to be a little boy So old in my shoes And what I choose is my choice What’s a boy supposed to do? The killer in me is the killer in you My love I send this smile over to you
Disarm you with a smile And leave you like they left me here To wither in denial The bitterness of one who’s left alone Ooh, the years burn Ooh, the years burn, burn, burn
I used to be a little boy So old in my shoes And what I choose is my voice What’s a boy supposed to do? The killer in me is the killer in you My love I send this smile over to you
The killer in me is the killer in you Send this smile over to you The killer in me is the killer in you Send this smile over to you The killer in me is the killer in you Send this smile over to you

In Episode 404 "The Dog House" I was wondering what the song is that is being played in the background when Sarah is laying out the ground rules to David about slapping/pulling hair/chocking etc?

I don't know about that song from 4:04 -- I'll have to look into that...
Here are lyrics from Coldplay's song, "Til Kingdom Come" It was used at the end of 5:01 when Lem was arrested (and Ronnie flogged the blond afro guy).....
"Til Kingdom Come"
Steal my heart and hold my tongue. I feel my time, my time has come. Let me in, unlock the door. I've never felt this way before.
The wheels just keep on turning, The drummer begins to drum, I don't know which way I'm going, I don't know which way I've come.
Hold my hand inside your hands, I need someone who understands. I need someone, someone who hears, For you, I've waited all these years.
For you, I'd wait 'til kingdom come. Until my day, my day is done. And say you'll come, and set me free, Just say you'll wait, you'll wait for me.
In your tears and in your blood, In your fire and in your flood, I hear you laugh, I heard you sing, "I wouldn't change a single thing."
The wheels just keep on turning, The drummers begin to drum, I don't know which way I'm going, I don't know what I've become.
For you, I'd wait 'til kingdom come, Until my days, my days are done. Say you'll come and set me free, Just say you'll wait, you'll wait for me. Just say you'll wait, you'll wait for me. Just say you'll wait, you'll wait for me.

I love that intro to episode 3 season 2 "partners" That was Tantric-Breakdown. I think one of the best music montages of the series along with "Overcome" at the end of season 2 and "Disarm" at the end of 5.10
