If you were Vic, and confronted with a rat on your team......would you have killed him??
I honestly think I would of. If I were a corrupt cop, and had to make a choice...to cover my own a$$....I would have done whatever it takes to cover the team and me.

Yes, I would have shot Terry. That rat deserved what he got. Remember the ST comes first especially when your name is Vic Mackey.

The strike team was a tight bunch. It wasn't like one of the guys had to be "talked to" or something. Terry was an outsider from the get go. It was a no-brainer choice. Nobody had any history with Terry. He was nothing but a threat to the team. He had to be silenced. Don't bring it up again! LOL

Yes, if I was Vic I'd probably do all the things that Vic has done thus far.

If I knew Terry was pulling that kind of shit behind my back, I shoot him, not once but twice.

No, I wouldn't have killed Detective Terry Crowley. lol I think I'm the only one so far, who made that decision. I mean, he was a rat, but killing him, is the way the Mafia would handle that situation, and I don't think Vic wants to be some Tony Soprano. I also think, Vic would change it if he could, like he said to Aceveda in "Pay in Pain" (was it I think).

Ehhhhh. I can't say if I would or wouldnt. No one can say for sure what they would do until they are in the situation themselves.

err... considerin that Terry's death is still haunting the entire Strike Team and is possibly inches from sending them 'all' to jail........... I'd think twice lol.

If they didn't kill him then they would already be in jail. True. In the sense of Vic's character, hell yes I would have. Personally I couldn't come close to it in the realm of real life and I don't think anyone here could either. Cops killing is touchy with me to begin with.

If you were as corrupt as Vic and the boys already were.....and knew someone was going to put you away......I think you would choose you over them.....just my thoughts... In a twisted way it's almost a self defense thing....him or the team.... but, yes, in real life realm.....being the person I am.....I am neither a crook, thief or murderer and would have no reason to kill. I would never be put in Vic's situation...

It sounds strange to me that Vic killed a cop. The explanation for me is that he didn't see him as a cop no more but as a traitor as he says later. Nevertheless I find this reason weak. Because Vic quite always finds a solution more subtile to his problems especially when dealing with autorities.
So after all the seasons, I would say no and I still don't think it fits well with the logic Vic shows later (his other cold blood murders are those of monsters).

yes i would if i was in the same situation. or have him offed in the line of duty for real by one of rondell's guys That's an interesting thought ... to have Terry taken out some other way. But obviously Vic had it planned out the way he did it. I suppose he didn't want to leave it to chance--what if it was botched by Rondell or whomever and put the ST at even more risk. No, Vic had to do it and he had to do it then and there. That has been the seminal moment of the entire series. By the way, some people are copping out in their posts: the question is NOT would you do it if you were Vic--the question is would YOU have done it. I wouldn't have. If anything I would have wussed out and found some other way, like having one of Rondell's boys do it.
