Leave your denial at the door, please...
Tell us what (1) is your worst habit according to friends and family or spouse and (2) the worst habit you'll freely admit. Could be one and the same, of course. Or you could share categories of bad habits... from morally reprehensible to socially repugnant, 1 to 5, etc
What I consider to be my worst habit: sloppy writing. I was once a writer by trade! Now I write like a sixth grader and spell like a fourth grader. This one is personally repugnant!
What someone close to me considers to be my worst habit: breaking non-work related deadlines. I don't know why I agree to them in the first place! I have resolved to knock that off (ie committing to deadlines).
What my cat thinks to be my worst habit: inability to hop out of bed at the slightest meow for kitty food at 3:00 a.m. I have resolved to knock *him out* the next time he does this.
My worst kinda good habit: seeking presents for friends when I travel and driving my hosts to insanity in the process
My worst habit according to E: selecting large fonts, bolding them, and adding oversized pics to my posts. I am slowly breaking this habit because E yells at me.
I have plenty of others but I've said enough. Your turn!

OH NOW, I NEVER YELL.... I'm working on a code to restrict posted image size, so watch out; I may include a restriction on sig size too!! My worst habit? I bite my fingernails when I'm stressed. Another bad habit of mine is that I'm always stressed...... My husband says my worst habit is laziness, but he's an anal-retentive obsessive/compulsive neat freak, so I'm sure I do seem lazy to him.... I'm addicted to milk; does that count as a habit? A habit I have that I think is cool is memorizing everyone's lines, not just my own part, in a play. I'm not the only one in the group who does that; it comes in handy when one of us flubs a line or skips over key dialouge.... we who've memorized everything can then whisper a good line prompt or improvise our own lines to include the skipped info; "Didn't you tell me about that blah blah blah......" Dang; I just realized it's been over a year since I was in a play.... no wonder I'm so out of sorts.

OH MY GOD!!! LOOK AT ALL OF THESE FRIGGIN EMOTICONS!! :yikes:
Another bad habit... using an axe to discourage size queen staffers who attempt to resize my sig. *
*where's the axe murderer emotion??

Lately I've been streaking through the chatroom naked just to see if anyone will catch me. It's pretty easy when there is nobody in there, though...LOL.

SMOKING! I smoke like a chimney and I should really quit. With having degenerative joint and disc disease, smoking is the worst thing because it makes your joints wear even faster. #whistling# Maybe one day.....

Late... I am always late! I have every clock and watch I own set 20 mins fast and I am still late! I am so burdened by deadlines in my working life that I think I've become utterly resistant to the concept of time.

I used to have that very same problem myself. I used to set my watch by the time clock at the store so I wouldn't be late! My problem was a weird fascination with the "snooze" button. Yeah, loved that thing. I had to keep replacing my clock radios because I had a tendency to hit the snooze bar or button with whatever happened to be lying nearby. One time I slammed it so hard I cracked the entire top of the clock. Yeah, I was vicious. #whip# I finally ended up getting this really annoying battery-operated one that beeped so loud it would scare you out of bed. I'd put it all the way across the room so I had to get up and shut it off. Once I'm up, I'm up. So that solved the problem. Sometimes. I still had my occasional days I slept late, but not as much.

I was just telling my daughter about a roommate I had who did the same thing: set his clock to buzzer with maximum volume and put it on the other side of the room. Fortunately, he lived on a different floor in the house.
The subject came up when we saw a thing on tv the other night about a Christmas gadget gift: some furry little thing that is actually an alarm clock. When it goes off the thing moves all around the room on the floor so the sleepy head has to chase it.
I don't think the poor little critter would last long in Bailey's house.

I was gonna say that I'm the world's worst procrastinator, but then I decided that procrastination can have benefits at times, so I had to think of something else. Okay, I'm too honest! Even to the point of having to give credit if I borrow someone else's phrase when no one else would notice or care. Now, if I think a person doesn't need to know the truth about something (or I don't want them to know it) I can be quite skilled in telling half-truths or "rationalization lies" (fancy term for "little white lies"--the former is a term that just popped into my head, btw, not borrowed from anyone). For instance when I went to KC last summer I said I was hooking up with some Shield fans from this region. That was true, but I left out certain other things that happened on that trip. But with the important stuff I always tell the truth and accept the consequences because ... well, the truth is what it appears to be.

I think my fiancee would tell people that my wordt habit is ALWAYS having a deck of cards in my hands. I am learning magic and have really been concentrating on card magic specifically so you basically spend thousands of hours lerning things that people will never see. By my own admission my worst habit was smoking but i quit on new years day. I just couldn't do it anymore. I will never, ever preach to anyone to quit though. It is their decision and it it hard for the first couple of days. Thank God and chemists for niccorette. Other than that i am perfect! :-)

Well I would post a link to my worst habit but have run out of free 3 day passes and now you have to have a valid credit card, plus the site is banned in 17 states.....not really.
My worst habit is probably dipping/chewing and having no present desire to give it up.

Sleeping late. I procrastinate getting out of bed and then I wind up falling back asleep.
This is more of personality thing, but I get pissy when we're going out to a restaurant, and the people I'm going with change their mind at the last minute and want to go to a crappy restaurant with a low sanitation grade.

I didn't know procrastination was a habbit, but since it is I'd say that would be my top one then.
My restraunt personality thing would be that I hate it when 2 people order the same thing at a table. I don't know why it bothers me it just does.
