This may have been mentioned on the TSF forum, but anyway...
I just blew through the First Season of Grey's Anatomy and found it to be a surprisingly good show. It's funny and has some good ongoing storylines, not to mention the season ended with a classic cliffhanger. Peter Horton (Co-Exec Producer) learned well from Shawn Ryan.
I saw the Moral Compass guy as a junkie who came to the hospital for Demerol.
The Assistant DA that blackmailed Dutch into doing her dirty work in Season 4 had a role as a retired scrub nurse who came to the hospital as a patient.

I saw the Moral Compass guy as a junkie who came to the hospital for Demerol. . This is a little off topic, but I think that was Dutches best interogation. Better than the cuddler rapist, the serial killer in season one, etc. I say it is better than those because those people WERE guilty, and the "moral compass" was innocent and Dutch still got him to confess.

I am really impressed by everybody's total recall ability to spot people that have been on "The Shield". I am kind of snickering at "I saw the moral compass guy playing a junkie getting Demerol on Grey's Anatomy" but at the same time, impressed. ;D As for Dutch...it is HIS MISSION in life to get people to CONFESS!! He is very dedicated. Maybe in another time he would have made a good tormentor during the Crusades. LOL

It was a fascinating interrogation but by the end of the episode, I wanted to take a shower. It was sickening to find that Dutch had pushed this guy so far that he went back to his old ways after doing so well. Without Dutch's tactics, would he have gone back to raping...eventually? What an ethical maelstrom that storyline was. Oh, and about my Grey's Anatomy marathon--I left out the most obvious, the whole reason I watched the show in the first place. While reading one of Scott Brazil's obituaries, I saw that he had directed an episode of Grey's Anatomy, the one entitled " If Tomorrow Never Comes." I owed it to Scott's memory to watch this episode, and I owed it to the show to see it in context, so I had to start from the beginning. It's episode 6 of Season 1 (which only consists of 9 eps), and it's a very good one.

That's cool, "Inside Straight". You were paying tribute to Brazil by checking out more of his work. A true fan, you are.

icy, you woulda ID'd the Moral Compass guy right away, too. He was unforgettable on The Shield and his part on Grey's wasn't small--he wasn't just some extra in the E.R. He had quite a few speaking scenes.

I saw Jamie Brown (ill fated Connie) on a commercial for an upcoming episode of Close to Home. Like Connie, the character she was playing looked really strung out.

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned already, but Michael Pena (Army) is going to star with Nicholas Cage in Oliver Stone's "World Trade Center."
It looks like it is going to be a very difficult, but very powerful movie.

Anyone who is going to do something on 911 should think really hard about it first. People are very emotional about that day and it should not be trivialized.

I think it's a HUGE mistake to cast Cage in this film! One reason United 93 is so powerful and engaging is the lack of name brand actors. Cage does ridiculous action films!! I seriously doubt I will even go to see it if that show off is in it.

My jury is still out on the idea of the movie at all, and I'm not only unsure about Nicholas Cage as the 'centerpiece of actors' involved with the film, but also Oliver Stone at the helm of it all, who likes things big and sensational. Big effects and such might be more than most people can bear about this subject. I think it's a HUGE mistake to cast Cage in this film! One reason United 93 is so powerful and engaging is the lack of name brand actors. Cage does ridiculous action films!! I seriously doubt I will even go to see it if that show off is in it.I'm also nodding along with you, CHIKchick, because even as a general note, Cage is one of those actors that ruins just about everything he touches for me. And this is just something that can't be done...wrong...you know? Or it shouldn't be done at all. Michael Pena, on the other hand, brilliant in Crash as well as TS...I have more faith in him taking good care of the importance of the movie. I haven't seen the theater version of United 93 yet, but I thought the A&E presentation was incredible....but very incredibly difficult to come through, as well. I'm not sure if I'm ready for this new version yet.

I have another Moral Compass Guy sighting. He popped up in the Season 3 Premiere of Deadwood as the guy running against Bullock for Sheriff. He seemed well known by guys in the camp, so if he's been in previous episodes, I didn't catch it. Even so, I'm sure this was one of his first speaking scenes on the show. It's hard to tell with Deadwood, everyone is so damned dirty!

Yes, Brent Sexton, the actor who played Paul Fetts (Moral Compass Guy) has a recurring role in Season 3 of Deadwood. His name is in the opening credits. He's moving up in the world. Good for him! ETA: Added Deadwood picture.

That story with the Moral compass guy was Dutches best interagation ever. He got him to confess and he didnt even do it.
So Im not totally off topic, this may have been said already, but I was watching S3 of 24 yesterday and Sadie(Kav's ex-wife) was in it.
