Michael Chiklis will be a special guest at WonderCon in San Francisco, April 2-4 - apparently he will be there to promote a new comic book he is launching - here's the blurb:
Michael Chiklis, best known for his portrayal of Detective Vic Mackey on the groundbreaking television drama The Shield, is venturing into the world of comic books. Chiklis, along with Anny Simon Beck and Marc Andreyko, is launching Pantheon, a dark and stylized story of ancient Greek gods returning to a ravaged, chaotic near-future Earth, where they battle for the fate of mankind. The five issue series pits Zeus's fellow gods against Titans in an epic battle of good verses evil and debuts from IDW in Spring 2010.
I am hoping this means he might be at ComicCon in July which I will be attending - I always thought FX dropped the ball by not having a Shield panel session at ComicCon since it is a huge way to promote a show - I saw Jay Karnes there last year on a Burn Notice panel and he was awesome - so the comic should be out soon, if not already - anyone seen it yet?

I'm not a huge goatee fan, but I'm liking this one, maybe cos it's comic style!
