For me, realistically, it comes down to Parracide, Possible Kill Screen and Family Meeting.
At this point I'm leaning towards Parracide slightly ahead of Family Meeting. But that may change upon rewatch.
Thoughts from others? I didn't do a poll so people answer with explanations rather than just votes (that and I don't know how).

Yep, those are the three.
Parracide feels more in line with other Shield classics than the other two. The final two episodes, as is neccessary, feel "different" in that they are really bringing the show to a close. Parracide feels more like a 'classic' episode, albeit one with a game-changeing end (Shane going on the run, Vic retiring), making it the 'last of its kind' in a way.
I don't think that 'Possible Kill Screen' and 'Family Meeting' can be improved upon as an ending to the show, but they're more difficult to watch in isolation than 'Parracide'. 'Parracide', like 'Trophy', 'Blowback' and 'Dead Soldiers' can be chucked into the DVD player and watched in a spare 45 minutes without getting too emotionally involved. Granted, the episodes all have plenty of backstory to them, but they can be appreciated almost in isolation.

I can't vote until I rewatch them all in order.... and in the span of a day or two..... It wouldn't be fair for me to over look episodes.... especially after knowing the end....

HEY ALL OF YOU...
my favorite episode is.....
MOVING DAY with a PARTY LINE providing ANIMAL CONTROL with a POSSIBLE KILL SCREEN thanks to the SNITCH'es promoting the GENOCIDE and the BITCHES BREW takin all the PETTY CASH when the MONEY SHOT is done. I hope that your GAME FACE ends within the COEFFICIENT OF DRAG , if not, you'll be facing the most brutal PARRACIDE and that will lead you to an ultimate FAMILY MEETING.
GOT THAT??

Animal Control. The buildup was excellent, culminating in one of the most tense moments of 'The Shield' I've seen yet. And the ending.. Shane coming home, emotionally drained as he realizes his two long-time partners, Vic and Ronnie, want him dead despite trying to make everything right. The music choice for that ending was great. And the payoff - the Armenians being killed off was so worth it. Terrific episode.

I totally agree, I forgot about Animal Control. That actually pushes Possible Kill Screen out of my top 3.
That last line is one of my favorite in the whole series: "Vic and Ronnie tried to kill me tonight. And the worst part is, they think I'm too stupid to even realize it."
Great seeing Tavon again too.

My favourites of the season are;-
Possible Kill Screen Money Shot Genocide Game Face Bitches Brew Petty Cash Family Meeting
I realise that's more than half the season, but I think they're all as good as eachother!

I nominate the following episodes because they made my heart pound erratically while wondering what was gong to happen at each turn.and I believe they were the most Solid episodes in terms of themes, acting and overall storytelling...definitely a classic final season.
Animal Control --Shane barely escaping the Mexican shootout at the junkyard Bitches Brew- Strike team chase/Ronnie beatdown of 2Man&Ronnie's stare@Shaneafterwards/ Vic and Farrah's final confrontation/humiliation. Parracide -Shane's trying to elude everybody/escape. Vic gives up his badge Petty Cash -Sting operation w/ Corrine goes sideways when Ronnie shows up w/the bag of $ Possible Kill Screen -Shane & Tina confrontation/Vic's confession/Claudette breakdown Family Meeting - Obviously the whole damn episode!

Parricide because it was so reminiscent of their near misses in the first few seasons. I like the last two episodes, but for different reasons. Parricide was classic Shield.

Family Meeting and Parricide are tied in my book. I just can't compare the episode where Shane goes on the run, Ronnie is almost killed, Corrine and Vic gives up his badge with the episode where Shane and his family die, Ronnie gets screwed, Vic loses everything and has that brilliant confrontation with Claudette. I really can't pick one over the other.

Season 7 had so many strong episodes. Shit. First impression is "Possible Kill Screen," but the Finale, Bitches Brew and Parracide (in no particular order) are all right up there.
But Parracide....wow. I can't tell you how many times I've watched Two-Man's confession scene, when Shane just bows his head silently and says "I'll be right back." Television just doesn't get any better than those moments.
