Shawn Ryan already said somewhere that they arent doing their usual credits at the end of the show. He said they were doing something totally different but didnt mention what, so it should be pretty damn interesting to see what that will be. I dont think thats a spoiler, hope not anyways. If it is, sorry! I'd like to see some photo credits. Including cast and crew who aren't on the show any more.

^ Whheeeee!
Ronnie's toast.
I think Lloyd is up to something dastardly. 7 hang-ups on Dutch's cell? The panic-stricken look on Rita's face? I think Rita made those calls. Lloyd's holding his mom prisoner and is going to end up killing her because Dutch ruined her for him. Maybe he kills her in front of Dutch and Dutch flips out, kills Lloyd, and "masages the crime scene to make it look rightous," thus popping the cherry on his own serial killing tendencies. It works out so he investigates all the murders he commits and frames others to keep his winning record.

It seems to me that if anyone were to kill Vic it would have to be someone well-vested in the show. By that I mean it would be cheesy to have some cameo or hovering appearance be the one to enact consequence. IMO and it would have to be something (or someone) that runs concurrent from Season 1 EP 1. Anything else would be anti-climatic.

Well...... I can honestly say that I didn't see that coming as an ending. I'm a bit disappointed as I expected things to fair differently but for the most part people were spot on in how things would end for Vic, just not quite like that.

Are we able to post yet? I went under another post - that was negative about the show and my post got bounced. I wasnt so negative about the show or the finale - though I found it disapointing in a lot of ways. 1) Why so much focus on Acevada - under reason to "wrap things up" - it was a waste of minutes. 2) I never need to see Shane wipe the a** of Mara ever again - can I get the Season 7 DVD without that scene? 3) Ronnie - smart - but not so smart? Has a relapse after Shane killed himself? When Ronnie was for the persecution the whole time? Didn't buy that one... 4) The end with Vic was the best. I predicted he would lose everything... EVERYTHING... not be in jail not be dead... but lose it all and still think that he was king. That was the last scene. Thank you Shawn ... you were true to the Anti hero that Vic was... screw everyone... 5) They wasted precious time with the Toliet scene, with the Beltran scene (could have gone down earlier - what happened produced NOTHING different from what Vic had pulled together.) In addition... Olivia called out Vics deal in front of Ronnie... were we supposed to believe that Ronnie never HEARD that? ? 6) Claudette and Dutch... did we need to see again - his insecurity with Claudette, unfounded, and them hash it out again - wasted clock. 7) We all knew Shane would do what he did - 3 EPISODES ago - more imagination would have been cool - but I suspect that Shawn spent more time on Max payne then the last season of the masterpiece he builit, that we followed..... even after 1 YEAR break.... THANKS SHAWN NOT I will say they what I predicted came true.... Shane dead, Ronnie in jail, Vic getting what he deserved.... the only thing that I am upset about is that ... well... I could have wrote it. Thumbs down for you Shawn Ryan. You were either predictible... or just busy.... I am not sure what is worse.............

Forgot to mention the Rita crap... what the hell did they waste minutes on something they would NEVER wrap up... yeah - we knew this kid was a serial... but no wrap up... looks like Shawn was to busy with Max to actually do justice to the series that man us all fans....
Sell out? Maybe......

I am not sure what is worse............. just addressing a few things. 1. acevada had so much time spent on him because he is 1 of the main characters of the show. 3. Ronnie was sorry that he killed mara and jackson not necessarily that Shane died. 6. yes I believe the scene with dutch and Claudette was needed to show that they forgave each other and to show how much they cared for each other. @your other post, I do believe they tied up the ending to the kids case, it was obvious that they caught him they even said prepare to have your face all over the news after they asked him what he wanted his serial killer name to be. I feel that it was the perfect ending to the perfect show with the path they decided to take.

As a avid follower for 7 seasons. I can say that I think the finale was great. To the so called "fans" you prove you're not, every time you bash the finale. Why does everyone think it should have gone out in a blaze? Shane...true to character....coward. Ronnie....true to character...the weak link always gets burned. Vic....it couldn't have gone worse for him. He was led around by an HR person giving him instructions on proper lunchroom use for christs sake.....The finale ended EXACTLY how it should have ended. Although I can admit that I was hoping for a brief Mayoral outcome with Andre Benjamin ( Crack! Get Off The Block! I loved that episode) winning the election and Aceveda losing something (I'm an Aceveda hater LMAO).
I'll miss the show a bunch. Nothing will even come close to The Shield...EVER! Luckily I have a 4-day weekend and EVERY episode at my disposal....I'm feeling a Shield marathon!
Thanks to each and every person who made this show possible. It was a once in a lifetime masterpiece and the fans will never forget it, me especially!

I agree 1000% on what you just said. they didnt do anything drastic character wise (meaning they didnt change the core character of the people) and stayed true to their usual actions. I feel the ending was still entertaining and suprising, and emotional among other things. maybe they could have done a few things to make it better but overall the way it ended for the characters was satisfying to say the least.

ecw is right. What may be unpredictable to most people will be something that somebody on here has suggested. I'm fairly certain for this simply because just about every POSSIBLE scenario has been brought up by someone. I guess we were right. Shane died, Ronnie is in jail and Vic suffered a fate worse then death... You had to be watching it though just waiting for Vic to go back on being a coward and give us ONE more act of defiance.

The murder/suicide with Shane & his family was not shocking to me at all. It was easy to predict. Overall, nothing that happened in the finale was hard to see coming. As much as this finale was hyped up, I am extremely disappointed. The ending with Vic was lame & unworthy of the greatness of The Shield. Yes, he lost everything & everyone in his life & it was deserved, but the emotional impact was severely lacking in the way it was conveyed to the viewers.
