When I first started watching The Shield.I think it was season 3 and hated it,AT FIRST.For maybe two episodes, I was bored an couldn't make up my mind to read a boring book, get out of my car and make a round in the cold or watch the boring shield. That lasted I think two, maybe three shows. Then I couldn't miss and now have all the DVDs.Its probably my favorite show of all time.
I have mixed emotions about next week being the last episode because I really don't like to get rapped up in a show like this but I CAN"T MISS IT.The show amazes me how the action is so non stop, with some of the greatest story lines of anything, ever.
I hate to see Vic and Ronnie get it.I would somehow like to see Shane walk away.I hated he killed Lem but they have all proved now, when the cost is high enough they will turn on each other.(except maybe Lem)
This show and Season has really kept me on my feet and it will all be all over next week...A 90 min show.Counting the days!!!

You really have to watch, "The Shield" to know whats going on...I know thats true with any show but The Shield probably more than the average show .It took me a handful of episodes before I really got interested. It had action but if you didn't know the background it wasn't interesting. For example, imagine the "Shane killing Lem" story,if you didn't really know the characters. Not that interesting.I've told several people at work about The Shield and nobody really cares for it.Only because they never watched long enough to know whats going on.If you tuned in last night, where Vic admitted to everything, killing Terry Crowley ,Armenian money train, etc, wouldn't mean anything without background. The people that have watched it unfold from Season 1 until now, probably rate as the greatest cop show in television history.I know I do.
