OK, I guess I'll introduce myself. Hi. I'm farmboy. *blank stares on the faces of other classmates* I like tanks and airplanes and cars and Sunny D. OK seriously caught onto the show during the latest hiatus. Thought - i've always heard that show was good. Watched the first season dvds and it hooked me like a river trout. Watched the last few seasons over the summer (I'm a school teacher LOVE my summers off). Just found the site. Have a lot of reading and catching up to do (so far some very intelligent conversations). Anyway I guess that is it for now. Next ...

Uh, well, not really much to tell. I'm a school teacher in a small town. Have always lived in small towns. I'm not married (but that's about as personal as I'll get about that). I guess you could say I'd be Sara Palin's perfect man, except that I don't race snowmobiles. Now that I have the standard dating site stuff out of the way ... I guess this show fascinates me, as many shows do, in its depictions of life in a huge city. I've been to LA once and New York once, but just as a tourist. I'd never be able to live in those places. Worst crimes we have are teen-age pranks and a few cases of adultery. I just can't believe people actually live like that in those cities. Maybe if their church held services in honor of Christ instead of being a holding cell for criminals ... The people in this show and the choices they make are so unusual. Anyway I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of the show. I guess the end is near.

Hey Farmboy, welcome to the fold. Great intro by the way. I come from living in small country towns to living in the big smoke (Melbourne) and I think deep down I want to go back to the country. When I visit, it just has so much appeal. Such a slower paced life, no hustle and bustle of the city. TS certainly brings together folk from all walks of life!

Hello! Do you teach a specific content area or are you general ed? I understand the small town thing. I haven't been in small towns all my life, but I live in one now and hopefully will be leaving it by next year Small town life has its pros as well as its cons, but I guess there's an appeal to city life that attracts me...but that's just my opinion...we all have them Welcome!

Hi hot4jax25 .... what does that name mean, anyway?
Yes, I see the allure of the big city, but I'm quite content in my small town.
