It amuses me that they are trying to make Jackson look like some bad ass tough guy when he's about the same size as Katy Segal and looks pretty skinny, to boot. Also, I don't like the way Jay Karnes looks in his new role. He looked a lot better in TS, IMO.

I just watched the latest episode on DVR and it is by far the best one so far. I was about ready to give up on the show, but this episode will keep me interested a while longer. And next week's previews look even better - looks like they may finally get into some of the history of Jax's dad and Clay etc. that they've been teasing us with since the pilot.
And yes, the exchange between Clay & Gemma at the police station is classic. This was a very well thought out well-written episode, reminiscent (for the first time) of some of the finer Shield episodes.

Probably too late for me. And I still don't like the way Jay Karnes looks. His features are accentuated in a negative way.

He comes off as pretty creepy and awkward which is what I think he is going for. Like if Dutch decided to idolize Vic.

Jay Karnes does creepy well, I find. I think my favorite scene last night besides Gemma whacking that tart in the face with a skate board was the conversation she had with Clay in the jail cell. I was touched that Clay offered to stay there until Gemma was released. And holy crap Jax and co. blew up those survivalist guys. Who out there thinks that one of them survived? That might come back to bite them in the arse.

Wasn't the female ATF agent in the latest episode the hooker from The Shield whose pimp taught Dutch pimpology?

^ Yep. I think this is the best ep so far -- I loved it. Gemma rules.

This episode was great I was worried they were gonna get caught with the AK's. I never learn watching TV, I always think Dexter is going to get caught too but then the show would end duh So Tara was pregnant with Scots baby at some point? And theres no baby... no wonder he's a little f***ed up! That female fed was too funny grabbing ass I'm loving this show more every week, I'm so happy that there is something else this twisted on TV now that my first love (The Shield) is leaving

Probably too late for me. And I still don't like the way Jay Karnes looks. His features are accentuated in a negative way. I'm fairly certain this is done on purpose to make him seem creepy and "negative". His true intentions will be revealed soon - we already know he is in Charming unsanctioned by the ATF, who think he's on vacation in Oregon. This stalking angle is set to explode on the plot in the next few episodes - we may see more of the "cat killer" side of Jay Karnes in this role

When Dutch was in Able's room.... the doctor lady asked him what he was doing. He said he was curious, then said something like, "It still hurts." The looks between them told me that she had been pregnant with his baby and either miscarried or aborted.

That adds a whole other dimension to his character. Interesting...

My guess is that she had an abortion, he went a little nuts over it, and that's why she filed the restraining order.

Yeah I was thinking the same as you abortion or miscarriage but she doesn't seem quite as upset over it as him so most likely the former I kinda feel sorry for his stalker sexy ass ;D
