I'd been biding my time, waiting for a good reason to use that script outside of the thread dedicated to it. This seemed like as good a place as any!
AND THIS IS STILL GREAT MOTHERLOVIN NEWS!!!!!!!

This is really great news.
So now, my understanding is that there is the next 10 which are season 6, then a season 7, right?

^ That's what I think.... from the way the press is talking; that's how it will be. My question is .... when do I get S5 on DVD?? Will it be released together as the 21 eps of S5, or separately as S5 and S6??

Seeing how the next 10 episodes is officially being billed as "Season 6," I can't see FOX waiting another full year to release a 2-season set. They've always struck when the iron was hot, using the DVD release as advertisement for the impending season.
Like I said in the DVD thread, if you were in business, what would you do?
1.) Sell a Season 5 set for 35 dollars and then a year later put out a Season 6 set priced at 35 dollars.
or
2.) Wait a full year and sell a Seasons 5-6 Set for 60 dollars.
For the casual consumer, option 2 is preferred, but who takes The Shield casually? I want Option 1. Gimme my discs now, gimme more later, I don't care about the price.
For the Corporation, option 1 is also beneficial. They get their money quicker and in the long run they make more.
On a side note: If the Kavanaugh Era was The Beginning of the End, and Season 7 is it, then will they be labelling Season 6 as The Middle of the End ?

Does anyone else think this is a bad idea?? Following the last three or four episodes of last season, I realized that the end was truly in sight and upon us. With Glen moving on, Scott's passing, and Shawn Ryan tied up on THE UNIT (which I still have STRONGLY REFUSED to watch since I assume it is taking away Shawn from THE SHIELD), I am much more likely to consider "Good News Shield Fans - Season 7 Confirmed!!!" as a bad omen of a less than perfect ending to my favorite show of all time. I am less than creative, I can't even draw a straight line with a ruler, but I do not have any f*cking clue how this show can draw out the death of Lem for 20+ more episodes. Personally, as of right now, I think a Season 7 is a bad idea.
Prove me wrong.

Does The Unit remind anyone of The Agency? The Agency referred to the CIA and was on a couple of years ago. It got canceled after two seasons. Gil Bellows, who was a main cast member on Ally McBeal (the dark haired guy), was the male lead but got killed off at the end of the first season. Maybe that killed the show, too. I liked it. It also starred Will Patton and Gloria Reuben (hot, hot black chick).

I've often wondered how they'd do things as I watched more and more of the show. It may seem hard and we have no ideas how they can do it, but they haven't let us down yet. If they didn't constantly put out a great show, would we all be here in the first place? And I too was about to fall for the "your username appears here" schtick. Just as I was about to his the quote/reply button, I noticed the date of the post and remembered my join date. Great trick, I loved it.

^ I agree. If they continue writing the rest of the episodes that are left as well as they did the previous seasons, then I think we're in for a wild ride that will leave us speechless when the final episode airs in S6/7.
