You've got an original Shibby. I don't think I've heard that before. Is it a UK name?

I agree, Jahncie is a cool name! We should give our real name, our nickname, and a name we'd like better... as in suits us better, eh?
Real name: Anita. Never liked it much. My mom almost named me HEIDI! I am definitely NOT a Heidi.
Nickname: 'Nita, which is ok. I've taken to my nick here, CC.
Name I would have preferred: CC is good. I think I could have been a Cecilia

No clue where it came from LOL a doctor once told me that there is a similar name in india only it's spelt different *shrugs* I like it because nobody ever gets me confused with anyone else there were about 8 lisa's in my school class, but I could never get away with writing my name on a wall LOL

What happen to Sarah? Most of the Saras/Sarahs I knew/know all go by S-A-R-A. Where did the H go?

Maybe those who don't want to be associated with the Bible dropped the H? I hate Nicholas or John without the H--they look weird, IM(H)O. Then there's some who spell Tom with an H (Thom), which looks equally weird to me. Funny letter, that H. Are there any other names with H conspicuously absent or present?
